Reposting this info since it got lost in the Badweb glitch a few weeks ago. Main thread for the meet is in Storm Fronts: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 900027.html?1708219468 Attention Buells in the Alps (BITA) attendees. In lieu of meeting at Little Switzerland this year, we are going to meet with the former Buell/EBR Tail of the Dragon Ride group. Last year, they moved their meet location to Mountain City, TN, along the road known as the Snake. They enjoyed it so much, they invited us this year. Just like Little Switzerland, there are plenty of other great roads in the area. Info on the meet is provided below:
quote:This group was the annual Buell/EBR Tail of the Dragon ride. Last year we moved to Mountain City TN and rode the Snake and surrounding areas. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to hold this years rally at the same time and place. This year plan on arriving July 23rd, group rides will be the 24th through the 27th, and plan on departing on the 28th. Our home base is at Corncreek Camp and Cabins in Mountain City, TN. Reserve your campsite well in advance, and if you would prefer to rent a hotel room there are plenty in town.

This meet is coming up in a few weeks. So far, we have 3 Badwebbers that plan to attend (me, Twig, and Jamie04). If you 're planning to come, post up and let us know. |

This meet starts 1 week from today. Preliminary head count is 14 riders for some or all days. Hope to have 3 more ride up for the day on Saturday. This could be the biggest Buell meet in the southeast for some years. |

Big crowd already up here. We had a good ride down to Burnsville for lunch. We stopped here for a break on the way down.

I'm finally getting around to posting more photos from the meet last week. I think there were about 25 people in attendance and 15 or 16 Buells. I believe we had 5 Badwebbers in attendance and the rest were members of the Buell XB Forum. I haven't seen that many in one place in a LONG time. They're already talking about having next year's meet at Two Wheels of Suches in Georgia. That's a regular gathering spot for Badweb so it'll be cool if we could combine all these BuellXB Forum guys with a bunch of Badwebbers. Mark your calendar for July 2025 if you're interested in coming.

One more pic, Backbone Rock on 133 between Shady Valley, TN and Damascus, VA. The tunnel is known as "the shortest tunnel in the world" and was originally blasted in 1901 for a logging railroad. The railroad was pulled up in the late 20's and route 133 was built in its place.
