If those thousands of bureaucrats think it's a choice between meekly going to get shot, and risking all to seize power, enough are going to try to make it too risky for Xi. But a war? Xi has no problem killing his own, foreigners are easy. Just being at War will strip any rivals to power of local troops that might join them. They're all off defending the Homeland. And that leaves just months of window to play the War as Distraction card. I don't even have to explain why. My guess is the most intense negotiations are internal to the Axis of Evil, as to the timing and who risks first. | ||

Last numbers I read on the percentage of "overhead" in U.S. government welfare programs was 78%. That's 78% of every tax dollars goes to pay the bureaucrats, leaving 22% for the poor. A decade ago, before recent inflation, the Average person earned $50k. ( it's 65? now? ) So we'll go with $50k & 25%. To make the math easy. If you confiscate all income, 100% tax, & redistribute all income equally, everyone ( except the Elite Government Bureaucrats ) gets a welfare check for $12,500. A year. That's Perfect Socialism. Everybody except the Aristocracy gets 75% poorer. Math simple, unfortunately half the people are below average IQ, so there's lots of them that believe in Socialism. And to be honest there's lots of Pundits who stupidly call our Social programs Socialist. They are not, that's what rich capitalist societies can afford to do for the poor. Without that wealth, they just die. ( because the Churches that used to do Charity are also subsidized by the Capitalist wealth. ) | ||

Barack Obama accelerated an existing trend to flood the Union with "refugees". In the case of Europe, Obama's Wars across the South side of the Mediterranean, here, by Executive Order that the laws written by Congress were to be ignored and broken. The Media won't report on rapes and murders and racist assaults, ( attacks based on ethnicity and hatred, like in the U.S., pushing Asian women in front of trains or sucker punching old white women ) if the attackers are an Intersectional Victim Group. The tell is in the reporting of ethnicity. The refusal to publish photos of the criminals, "to avoid violence". In the U.K. substitution of "asian" for Pakistani. In France, "youth" for Muslim Immigrants... Other parallels include an Establishment Class that is rich and getting richer from bribes but almost never changes leaders, for decades. Authoritarian censoring of those who question the Establishment. But most importantly, the "Far Right" & "Threat to Our Democracy", has common cause. Rule of law, not whim. Controlling immigration. Anti-racism, the real thing, not the Race Hatred Hustle scam. Family values. Pride in community. Individual rights. | ||
