I was only sent 1 Pic. It showed 2 S2's - which were not imported to Europe when they were actively produced.

BORG (Buell Owner and Repair Group) Mid Summer Meeting (MSM) - held annually in Germany. I went in person in 2007 and 2008.

I had to create a login on X-BORG in order to see the post Tutte (Frank Butte - my 'twin' in Germany) made when he received the 2005 Homecoming banner that a fri3nd and I sent him, so I probably won't be able to post an accessible link.

Glad to see the flag is still being carried.

It seems there is more enthusiasm for Buells on other parts of the world than in the US.

That's really cool. A year ago March I was in a town called Wolnzach Germany. The brewery I work for took me there. We have a 3rd brewery there we were visiting. Our production manager and I ended up by ourselves for the evening so we located a bar that sold our beer and went there. It was a shotgun type bar and death metal music was cranked up. My German is not that great but I've found that if you try to speak it the German's will end up speaking English to you. The bartender was a wild looking dude all tatted up and jumping to the beat of the music. I ordered a couple of beers and wondered if we were in a safe bar or not? Then I looked up and saw a large Harley flag hanging on the wall. I looked at my co-worker and said, we're good. I started talking to the bartender in my lousy German and ended up he had 8 motorcycles including one Harley and a Buell! At that point we were best friends!! Between my broken German and his broken English we had a really good night. The funny part was his wife showed up and all of a sudden the death metal went away! It was a great evening!

Very cool story Tootal, thanks for sharing it with us!

Part of me would love to go to Germany and have a good NA Brew in a German bar. But...

Then I remember it's not the USA, and as such I don't have same rights that I do here, my agoraphobia would kick in and I wouldn't enjoy myself. But it's a nice thought!
