Not a Buell but you never know who might be looking. The bike is in southern central PA. I got this in mid-December, have fooled around with it quite a bit and another bike has been dangled in front of my nose and I'm trying to avoid a bank loan. Cosmetically good, mechanically excellent - no issues whatsoever, turn the key and go. New Michelin Road 5 tires, Tommaselli adjustable clubmans, gel grips, fork gaiters, Zard low exhaust, carbon fly screen, carbon fender extender, carbon fiber bits all over the place from the previous owner, Sargent seat, Hyperpro shock, Hyperpro fork springs (not here yet but on order), Ferodo brake pads up front, Galfer wave rotors, new Yuasa battery, lots of stainless fasteners, K&N air filter, Napoleon bar end mirrors, FIAMM horn, SuperMosfet kit from roadstercycle, factory shop manual, correct relay for the indicators, some other stuff I'm probably forgetting. Fresh brake fluid, Mobil 1, coolant, shock linkage lubed. It's fast, handles well, great brakes, no weird noises or oil consumption. The only thing it could use are brake lines about 2" longer for some peace of mind with the clubmans, a longer clutch cable would allow it to be routed correctly but I'm not sure what model to use. Up next is to install the fork springs and strip and lube the rear end. All stock parts included. Mileage is currently at 16,142. This is the easiest bike to ride fast I've ever ridden, it's pretty impressive.

I guess the best way I can describe this bike is picture a Buell S1 or X1 with a smooth, unburstable motor that has enough power to actually go 150 MPH. That's pretty much it. |

I'm sorry, I thought is was on there. I'll see if I can't edit the ad. $5000, god knows how much I have into it. Yeah, the triple are kind of addictive. They have the torque of a twin but the top end is really somehing. (Message edited by SteveFord on June 07, 2024) |

Here's the triple I had back in the day. 75 Trident T160 electric start. I bought it new and wish I still had it. Rode it from Ohio to Tampa and back, rode it to the outer banks and back, rode it halfway across Canada and back. It never let me down.

I think they have aged well......its still a great looking motorcycle today. To me, maybe one of Triumphs prettiest designs |

That's a handsome Trident. End of the line and probably the best of the batch. |
