I really enjoyed the movie Kingdom Of Heaven, about a small band of brothers in the Crusades. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Heaven_(film) Historically semi, ok, a little accurate in the main story, ( very fictionalized ... But the truth is as complicated and unsatisfactory as a Kardashian "romance" ) and almost alone in hinting at the insanity of The Crusades. If you want to dig into the mess, there's books that get into the demographic reasons, Climate Change ( from a mini ice age in the Dark Ages ) led to improved infant mortality and an excess of young men who weren't going to inherit the family properties. Other books get into the insanity, tictok challenge level stuff! Following a Goose. Children's Crusade. Good movie, great cast. Action scenes! And a lesson in unquestioned hype. | ||
