Actually you have that backwards per the Old Testament. Eve invented clothing. Or both Adam and Eve did together, depending on the translation version. And what's wrong with dresses? I own a real kilt, & know how to wear it. ( and not a cheater kilt with belt loops ) I do prefer trousers for motorcycle riding, June bugs hurt @ 70. Nice! I appreciate a simple sporran and like the drinking horn stand bits. My kilt is Black Watch tartan, the Irish family tartan is muted and hard to get. So I went semi-generic military. It's amazing how comfortable a good kilt is across a range of temperature. I'm usually wearing linen calf length Viking tunics at events, in warm weather, & add wool leg wraps and under tunics in winter. I'm pretty bad at period footwear, I want more support. | ||
