Double or triple the angst by being gay and dealing with bullies, and I really have sympathy for the kids who had it worse, and I can agree with those who want to diminish the sexual orientation harassment with education. In jr. High, ( 7-9 grade, U.S. NY ) probably, to ease the transition into adult subjects. Feel free to suggest different ages. It's more complex when you throw in mental illness and the literal evil insanity of the Teacher's Union to Promote and suggest that reality is optional and you can chose your gender. There's some evil pedo stuff going on that is seriously causing suicides and smashing families, on purpose. Ditto sexual education before some ( necessarily arbitrary ) age. And miseducation/grooming for the monsters out there to prey on. I could be wrong. But asking 3rd graders about their sexuality is pretty much an automatic sign of a predator who should be buried in an unmarked grave with whatever precautions your faith uses to ward off demons or prevent the undead from rising. ( I'm old school, car crusher and smelter, or wood chipper and plowing under, the mechanical certainty aspects appeal ) So it's not a surprise that "trans kids" who have been criminally encouraged in their mental illness, or even just insanity peer pressure on social media, ( being a victim is Popular, a deliberate ideological brainwashing technique of the current Evil predators. ) lose it when subject to the cruelty of children. Made far worse by the online relationship paradigm of cruelty without consequence.
