I was there, but missed a lot of the racing in order to avoid the worst of the rain. Still had fun wandering the paddock and talking to the teams and racers, though. I took that photo of Smoke that I posted above inside their garage. | ||

JD's flat track ride disappeared. My insider info says JD will be with Cam. I was curious if Cam was having reservations about racing after getting banged up last season. I'm not seeing anything on the web, but my guy has been pretty reliable. Not infallible, but reliable!  | ||

Very cool. Are you going to run the whole series? I have always liked the classes that mix up brands and engine configurations. I am sure it goes back to the Daytona Sportbike days of Buell 1125R glory. | ||

Solo with no RV or separate hauler setup basing out of Maine means at best I can make 3 out of 5 rounds, Daytona, Mid Ohio and I'm hoping to make COTA again. The two west coast rounds are just too far of a trip for me to pull off unfortunately. | ||

So, yeah, didn't qualify. A stock Buell XB can't match built FTRs and Pan Ams at Daytona, not with my skill level. 137mph top speed vs 171mph... That banking is intimidating as ••••• but stupid fun though. |
