( Alzheimer's, etc. ) And every time I visit, I cheerfully greet everyone by name, to ease her confusion and reduce anxiety. ( usually works ) It's tough for them. She forgets where she is and keeps looking for people who aren't with us anymore. ( including 2 of her adult children who died of strokes the last 3 years ) Extra locks on the front door to keep her from trying to walk to her old home a 7 hour drive away. I see similar symptoms in the pResident. On a lighter note? There's going to be a wave of folk in nursing homes who keep asking where their genitalia went. I don't envy future generations. | ||
