I'm looking for a pair, of OEM turn signals for an S2/S2T, the large ones. I like to run them on the rear in the cutout in the saddlebags. There are some tiny aftermarket signals on the rear now and they don't work for me. |

I just read the discussion below where the brittle stem problem is discussed. I don't know what I'll do, I don't have S2 signal stems anymore, to have remolded. I just hate that big pocket in the saddlebags, and I do like to run the bags. |

Michael, go with XB turn signals, direct bolt-on, look good and still a Buell part. I believe numbers are Y0526.K and Y0527.K.

I did run XB signals on S2's and other tubers for a while, and that may be what I'll do, I'm just considering my options. |

I don't have the packaging anymore, but I currently run some sort of aftermarket, square-lens, amber turn signals on my S2T. They're smaller than the rear-view-mirror-sized stock signals, but seem to be holding up well and don't look too out of place. For some reason, I'm thinking JP Cycles or some such thing... Damn, I miss my red S2.... |

The originals (IL still have an unopened box) were made in Italy. I wrote them years ago without response. If you hear something let us know . . . I'm game for a couple. Thanks If you need a photo of the box, manufacturer, part number, etc . . let me know and I can see if I can dig them out. |

Damn if that doesn't look like them! May have to figure out how to order from Italy... Court - if I were you, I'd find a machinist who can template the stems (since yours are new and perfect), and pop some out of aluminum, or 3D print some out of some sort of sturdy material. The light housings themselves usually survive, it's the stems that rot and fall apart. If someone could make billet slugs that look / fit like the original rubber ones...that would be EPIC. |
