When she's either lying, or gullible to lies, it's worse. I point out the Former First Lady complained that the very racist policy Justice Brown-Jackson supports undercut her ( the First Lady ) credibility as a lawyer. And the fact that Known racist President Biden openly declared he would appoint a Black Woman to her job, undercuts Justice Brown-Jackson's credibility as a racist hire without regard to merit. Aka, as Joe* would have said when he was younger or now when his meds are off, "she's a token Negro Lady". A quick look at Justice Brown-Jackson's career shows she's not stupid, definitely politically partisan ( pro Klan Party ) and from my viewpoint rather typically mixed in how good I consider her decisions. To be clear, I expect to disagree with the Supreme Court about half the time, regardless of it's makeup over the half century I've been paying attention. ( my opinions under age 15 are mostly, mercifully, forgotten. I was a lefty teen lout, until my Father straightened me out ) So I'm absolutely not picking on Justice Brown-Jackson for her race, sex, or, surprisingly, competence. And it's not HER fault she was appointed by a senile dementia case with a history of racist attitude. I will criticize her for following a racist Party Propaganda line, to wit, ( namely ) that blacks can't get ahead because of the long term racist policies of her Party. Which deeply internalized the lie that Blacks are an inferior race and need whites to take care of them. Here the deepest irony and dishonesty lies. Justice Brown-Jackson, in this case specifically and others in her past Correctly identifies that systemic racism issues hurt people. But hypocritically, has to ignore/deny/project the identity of the racists, and ignore the underlying racism, to keep in line with her Party's racist policies. It's not a simple subject. Dishonesty makes it worse. | ||

Or... Short form. Being a token hire undercuts your credibility in the eyes of the public and coworkers. Supporting token hiring undercuts your credibility in my eyes. I'm aware enough, ( Not Woke ) to consider people as individuals, on their merits. I find Justice Brown-Jackson competent, but hypocritical, partisan, and dishonest or gullible, politically. Otoh the cute lesbian press secretary is incompetent, dishonest, and unqualified. But I'm willing to accept I could be wrong and she's actually a very clever evil monster faking it. The Biden* Occupation has many such disposable/deniable minions. His "script writers" are mostly Obama retreads. ( or Obama's deniability operatives, there's some debate ) Obama was never shy about "throwing people under the bus" to CYA his lies & crimes & attitudes. Although I generally prefer the metaphor of sleds and wolves, "under the bus" is a more American phrase. | ||
