When I was growing up, 4 kinds of people had tattoos. Sailors. Sideshow freaks. Bikers. Guys who spent a lot of time in prison. My father was a Navy Corpsman, and didn't have a tat. My neighbor had a tattoo, Really nice little old lady. She got hers in 1942. Involuntarily. Swore beautifully in Yiddish. ( I figured both out later ) I always said I didn't like needles. ( I don't ) But if you enjoy yours, yea for you. I've praised every tattoo someone proudly showed me, and seen a few really good ones. | ||

I had a couple of experiences with Lib friends this week. They were over for dinner and I was tossing an empty beer bottle in the trash. One friend says that the county is recycling glass again. I replied that I had read the newspaper articles about a local lady who has bought a glass crushing machine and has it parked at a county facility.. I remarked that the article didnt say what happened to the glass next, except that a few people had taken away some of the sand. I said that I didnt see much point in recycling if it wasnt actually used for something. That didnt compute and these are intelligent people. In another incident, another friend, visiting from Florida, who hates DeSantis and manages to ignore the election margin, announced that he only just heard of Microaggresions and mocked the idea. I just shook my head, since it is so key to leftist control to keep you constantly afraid of inadvertently offending someone who wants to be offended. | ||
