TP: while I fully believe you are just trolling to get a reaction, I may be wrong. If so, please show the courage of your convictions and enlist in the Red Army. Please send updates when able.
The question is, would Seattle vote for annexation? Lots of Soviet Thinkers there, if not Russian Speakers.
How would Redmond vote on annexation? The rest of the state might vote yes to voluntarily give up the port if they put up a closed border.
The question is moot. Chile may annex the entire West coast strip based on Spanish language use. Biden* would sign the treaty if there was ice cream promised.
Since the damaged bridge has explosives detector installation guarding it, any bomb was approved by the Kremlin.
Or the Russian staff was incompetent. Lot of that going around. You'd think that even the famously corrupt would think twice about taking a bribe as their sirens and blinking red lights went off.
Iirc, It's the same neutron activation chemical scanner used in most international ports to screen containers. I know the one at the local airport tweeks loud alarms when it detects even sub gram quantities of burnt gunpowder. Semtex really gets the lights flashing.
So, feel free to speculate why Putin would order a bridge damaged to trap his conscripts in Crimea with no route to desert.
He's been waving the False Flag hard for months, so that's just more of the same.
Come on guys. Calling for a nuke in response to bridge demolition? Pretty sure that’s the same TP sarcasm that has been flying over the heads of some here for a while.
Reason for Seattle to leave? Not this month, sure can't think of one. In January, if Europe doesn't boil over, and Iran doesn't nuke their own university cities, then maybe the rulers of the city might want to join Canada to avoid potential scrutiny, but that's only tangentially related to the potential growth of the Federation into a resurgent Empire.
As to the reasons for the invasion, war upon, genocide, and kidnapping that is the "special operation", I'm going with the classic reason for war. One King wants another's stuff. Land, peasants, industry, resources, the usual.
In the case of the former KGB guy, you can toss in strategic position, to set up the expansion of empire to the former conquests, and beyond into the E.U., too much risk going around Ukraine to the rest of Europe, but that's still just grand theft country.
And the mass destruction by artillery of industrial and population centers is just vicious and vengeful tantrums. If I can't have it, no one will. And a psychopathic anger at being denied their whim.
It's not a coincidence that there is protests and mass murder in Iran. Italy electing a moderate. And China preparing to recrown ( confirm the God King status of ) Xi. ( and the "internal matter" ( sarcasm) of crushing rival economic powers like Hong Kong and Taiwan )
The pendulum swings. Lots of effort and lives have been spent over the centuries trying to freeze change.
Hey, if I knew the future I'd know where to invest.
Come on guys. Calling for a nuke in response to bridge demolition? Pretty sure that’s the same TP sarcasm that has been flying over the heads of some here for a while.

Blake,
You and I have a massive difference in opinion on TP. I don't see it as sarcasm. Not at all. Guess I'm just an idiot who doesn't get it. Just a fool, as comments by others fly over my head.
I'm definitely a fool, that's for sure. No doubt about it.
I appreciate sarcasm and irony. TP’s posts are neither. He grew up saturated in Russian propaganda; he cannot tell truth from fiction. The irony is that he left mother Russia for greener pastures, but can’t seem to shake it.
Here we see the kindness of Vladimir saving the world from Ukraine by murdering children and other civilians. ( the tp view )
Plus decades of recovery from Soviet craptitude, burned & blasted by a vicious thug that clawed his way to power over the dead bodies of any rival. ( the ae view )
I'm not pro Ukraine.
I'm anti Leftist mass murder. Vladimir & his good friend Barack, and Joe* proud to brag how he blackmailed Ukraine into firing the lawyer investigating the company that bribed him by paying his son a million dollars a year to pretend to take a job he never did.
There won't be peace and freedom as long as they are running the show.
Russia strikes military objects on Kiev territory and electrical power facilities. Kiev has gone too far. Nobody can act against the people will and Russia is going to protect the people will by any cost.
Kiev murdered children and other civilians in eastern republics for last 8 years and Russia is going to stop it.
It's total blackout today in Ukraine. At least Russia left them the moon light. But Russia could easily shut the moon light down using the climate weapon to cast the clouds above Ukraine. That's generous move.
The real kicker is Musk had suggested an idea for a peaceful resolution to this conflict (you know, since it might be a good idea to keep the nukes from flying) and this Ukrainian ambassador told him to f*** off.
They not only looked a gift horse in the mouth, they insulted the guy that gave it to them when they needed it most.
I do have to say that cowering in the face of a nuclear attack will only serve to demonstrate to Russia that they can successfully blackmail the world. Not a good idea.
