It will never cease to amaze me how well Buell parts from different eras match when they're combined on the same bike. |

oh wow, me too. I never would've guessed that an XB set would match up to the X1 tank so well. Very nice job on the subframe swap, if you paint those bottom block black it would look like a stock setup. I've never been able to fully adjust to the bulky X1 subframe, but this looks great. Did you do the conversion yourself? |

yes i did the conversion,never liked the original tail,the seat has a pie cut and trimmed on the bottom to match the angle of the tank,the bottom rails are raised 2 1/4 inches,the top has .080 spacers[washers],you can sleeve the original holes to 5/16,this is a very easy mod to fit,bent some 1/8 alum plate for the bottom fillers. |
