Need source for replacement, substitute fork seals for 1995 S2 as well as everything needed to redo them so they don't leak. Also recommended fork oil and viscosity. |

I have an extra new set if you like. $50 for a set + $10 priority mail shipping. A set (2) of new Buell S2 Thunderbolt OEM Fork Seals for 1995 1996 S2T S2, 1997 1998 S3 S3T S1, White Brothers Power (WP) inverted Forks New in package. Part Number: J9131.8 or 45813-94Y From; http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/284240.html?1183233726 https://racetech.com/ProductSearch/12/Buell/S2%20T hunderbolt/1995 KTM used the same WP forks; http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/807183.html The right seal will leak on occasion, so clean the fork tube and seal before each ride! Cleaning will fix the leak. Recommend cleaning the seal with the old trick of 35mm film strip, or better yet, Seal Mate; https://sealmate.net/ http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/674515.html?1335400741 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/681728.html (Message edited by 89rs1200 on May 15, 2022) |

Are there any further parts other than seals that l will need to repair the leaking fork? I see links to bushings on referenced posts, but not sure if l need more than the seals and oil. Thoughts on oil brand and weight? Had seals redone on a 99 S3 and the tech put in a heavier oil and l loved it. Not sure what he put in it and sadly he has passed away. |

Page 2-36 of the 1995/1996 S2 Service Manual states "...WP Fork Oil, 7.5 weight..." |

OK, took the fork tubes off my 95 S2 and took them to my mechanic to replace the seals. Bike has the White Power forks and they are a bit different according to my mechanic. The service manual is a little vague on how much fork oil to add and how. Does anyone know the actual volume to add to the fork? It is not told in the manual. Also, does anyone know of a youtube video or have a video of how to add the fork oil to the WP forks? |

Seals done and bike back on the road! Thank to Robert for the NOS seals and others for advice on other questions. I haven't ridden a Buell for several years after selling my S3T and the S2 not being ridable, but I had totally forgot just how bad ass the Buells are! |
