Driving about today, I heard Bongino? radio show & he mentioned " the Dinkins Effect" where leftists got the policies they wanted with the then New York City Mayor, then blamed him for the bad effects. His thesis was that leftist policies ( he condemns "liberals" so we differ in terminology ) cause apocalyptic results, & when the people get angry about crime, inflation, and corruption, the actual policy pushers blame a scapegoat. ( Mayor Dinkins ) And that they are doing the same to Biden*. It's not the people that write his scripts who are at fault, it's Joe*. The leftist policies are apocalyptic on purpose. The bad economy, poverty, crime and race hatred is desired result & method to get to the end game, a divided people set against each other, & it gets so bad they'll support "A Strong Man" to fix things. The New Guy inevitably crushes dissent, takes emergency powers, ( justified by the resistance of the Enemies of The People ) and you get Venezuela or Myanmar. So as they Blame Joe*, ( patent pending ) remember it's those people that write the script. You don't think Joe* thought up the idea of making energy so expensive to save the world, and the hundreds that "work for him" consider him a super genius and never question his superior wisdom? Because the FBI would claim it was, no matter what. And claim it was deliberately added to the dump by the alleged perps, not on the laptop originally. And since they have it, they know that's their own lie. And wouldn't care. Even if the Mid terms get a R majority despite fraud and last minute Emergency Declaration, ( bet ya! ) by the time a Congressional committee asks for it, it will be gone. A badly written Decree wouldn't survive legal challenge long enough to get started. A slightly less bad Decree Might be reversed by the next President, and reinstated by the next change in Party. A well written one might hang on for decades, but that's the long shot for the Biden* Executive Orders Directorate. Ironically, I imagine I could, with a lawyer's help on wording, craft one that would anger 20-30% of the people, on both sides of the argument. One that would protect rape and incest victims, and interstate travel with specific exceptions. Very specific. Which would encourage actual legislation to broaden or narrow my Whim's scope. ( not the Cloward-Piven Obama-Biden illegal immigrant ploy! But the "troll them to rile them up" Trump ploy ) Why MY nefarious plan might work, is that I don't imagine my ideas are perfection. They will get improved, or ruined, no matter what they are. That's how it works in a split power arrangement like ours. Or better, point out that it's Big Whatever that's the real villain. Once a company gets big enough to partner with the politicians to bribe them a monopoly, approve forced mergers, and crush emerging technologies from from now small, future competitors, ( that can't afford to buy politicians ) you get stagnant lousy reality. So, yeah, Big xXxX sucks. It's especially bad in Pharma because the regulation is so Byzantine and it's tied so tight with the government. Take the liability issues with the Pfizer mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. Never mind for a moment it is not as effective as we'd like and as hyped. The Gov, ( under the Bad Orange Man, I point out ) went to the industry and asked for a billion doses of a vaccine for a plague that was nigh impossible. We don't really have Coronavirus vaccines for reasons amply covered, I'd think. No Common Cold shots! Pooh's Breath is a modified Cold, basically. So, asked to deliver a highly experimental drug with limited testing in a big tearing hurry, ( testing takes years with lots of money... Otherwise you don't know if everyone goes sterile after 18 months! Or gets an inflammation disease. ) The Company used their latest technology and delivered. And you'd be insane not to want to CYA in this project. So they got their CYA, and the Government isn't going to take responsibility for problems. Might be a good idea to be careful of such deals. You can Blame Trump for listening to the wrong experts in 2020, as far as lock downs and such went.
