Arguably their lives matter a great deal, otherwise why would a particular political party have a century+ long history of policies that discriminate against, urge abortions of, discourage marriage of, discourage education of, etc. etc. ? The fear and hatred of the Other goes back to before we had villages, and animal skins were the height of fashion. This ain't that. These are our fellow countrymen since we fought a bloody Civil War ( and the last child to fight in that war is dead ) and then spent another century fighting that same party to get their God given rights. ( this is the kindest to the so called parent scenario. ) It might be the so called parent wanting to shield the rapist, ( motivation unknown, but I'm sure you can make guesses, very few positive imho... But it could be blackmail from the rapist illegal threatening to murder the child. ) prompting her to seek a criminal doctor who wouldn't report the rape as required by law. (The "pro-pedo-rape" folk I once thought semi mythical would be happy to assist her, which I think I can safely assume includes the Abortion Promotion Activist that publicized this story in violation of multiple state & federal laws. ) It might be that a pro-abortion activist generously offered to pay the expenses for getting the Child Rape Victim an abortion for publicity purposes, as well as protecting the guilty monsters, the rapist, and the child's egg donor. Or there could be other reasons. The people who committed the multiple crimes in this case, and there are undoubtedly more people involved than I currently know, and the number and type of the multiple crimes are as yet unknown.
