Very cool! Glad to see Europe is alive and well modifying bikes! Definitely unique! Too bad it’s just a digital rendering concept, some of the shadows don’t quite match up with reality… I appreciate the talent guys with computers can do, but it pisses me off that it isn’t real…needs a bit more red to it to give it the good ol red-white-blue ‘merica treatment, bit too close to a mid-late 80’s Suzuki |

>>bit too close to a mid-late 80’s Suzuki << having owned one of those I agree, If it actually existed you would assume that it there would be more pix. |

"bit too close to a mid-late 80’s Suzuki" that's the point I suppose, it being a bol d'or homage and all, though I do agree that it is kind of weird to do this to an X1 Lightning seeing as how it has no connection to that particular part of motorcycle history at all. Still, it's just a render so wth. |

I like everything except the stupidly wide rear tire. |

Have to agree on that. So many reasons why its dumb but big tires always Look good. I think the relocations of the Oil tank is intresting. Good Show. |

I agree the rear tire is a bit much, but at least it's not a busa sized 300 tire. I think the stock 170 could've been upsized a little, but I think a 108-190 would've been plenty for this style of bike. Probably could've done that in the stock swingarm too. Not criticizing though. I think it was just big enough to catch my eye and think "oh... that's a really big tire for this bike", not at the point of looking horrible. That front fairing is very impressive for something bent out of metal. I love the shape of it. Of all random things, I've gotta say my favorite part of it is the license plate mount. That's a pretty unique design, although anyone who owns a Buell knows those two tiny little rods can't be that stuff, and that giant license plate is going to be shaking all over the place haha. |

Yeah, it's unlikely those are going to last for any length of time, lol. Still, I don't expect this to do a lot of miles anyway. |

I really like the look of that one. I also get a little anxious when I see people who have come up with a custom exhaust that mounts onto the frame. I'd hate to see someone do that much work and have the exhaust crack because the engine is shaking so much independently of the frame. A nicer shock would've looked nice on there, but if that's someone who can weld, paint, and do fiberglass, I could see that bike being built within a reasonable enough budget that $600+ for a new shock wasn't worth it to them. Curious about the shifter/brake lever/pegs. They look nice on there. (Message edited by upthemaiden on December 14, 2021) |

Not feeling the old school cafe' racer look. I think I like the MB the best of all in this thread, that’s my opinion anyway. But the humble S1W in (mostly) stock attire puts them all to shame...

Upthemaiden , that white M2 has the exhaust supported at the engine and with some belt straps at the footpeg brackets. So it's not solid to the frame. That S1 from Kc_zombie looks the best off coarse! |

Ah, gotcha. I saw it was mounted to the rear peg mounts, I didn't see they were just belt straps. Not sure how good belt straps are for your exhausts either, but whatever works for him haha. I agree about the S1, but it's gotta be the short tail, and preferably the small tank if we're talking the best looking bike, and in the nuclear blue/molten orange paint scheme while we're at it. |

Yes I agree with you that the short tail looks better on the S1. The nuclear blue frames are the best colour And my choice would be Ice pearl white on nuclear blue frame , molten orange on blue frame or black on blue frame. And both fuel tanks are okay , but my favourite is the big manta tank! The only thing I never liked are the three spoke wheels. |

"I just that pully gaurd for sale. never saw it before then / never seen it on a bike now" It's kinda of rare, it's an early effort from Joker Machine, circa 1998-2003. (Message edited by kc_zombie on December 15, 2021) |

"But the humble S1W in (mostly) stock attire puts them all to shame..." Agreed. But I also think a stock M2 looks way better than that cafe racer build lol. The Buell tube frame design has always been massively underrated in my opinion. It's timeless. |

Bob Dron had that bike on display at the San Francisco IMS in the late 90’s. Looked somewhat better in person. |

Which looked better in person? Actually the Vegas Show Girls that Bob hired to stroll the display. When I asked ‘why Vegas showgirls?’ Bobs response - “figured we had to liven things up”. And it did - beautiful women with the giant peacock-style headdresses were difficult to overlook. |
