At 68 years old, I'm afraid it's time to sell my Uly. I've found a V-Strom 650 that is lighter, lower and easier to handle around town so the Buell is now up for sale. It's a 2009 XB12X with full touring hard bags and trunk, Madstad windshield, engine guards and an awesome (brand new) Sargent seat. Also have the stock seat and some extra parts including front engine mount, a couple of oil filters, extra drive belt and a few o-rings. 29,000 miles, just adjusted timing chain and clutch, almost time for 30,000 mile oil and filter change. Tires are good, should have at least 2,000 miles left on them. Air cleaner cover ("gas tank") is carbon fiber. Great bike, thought I'd post it here first before going the Craigslist route. $5,000 takes it, local pick up only. I live on the coast of Georgia, about an hour and a half north of Jacksonville, Florida. I have pictures now but don't know how to edit my post with pics. I can text them to you at your request. I just sold my v-strom to buy an xb12x. I thought the v-strom was too heavy. Lol. | ||

Having owned both I agree, I'd trade my Vstrom for another Uly in a minute, lol |
