Yeah, that guide inside the frame is going to be a beach. Now if you could tie the new cable to the old one and pull it through, oops. Of course if you had all the time in the world you could rotate the engine…   Arry Posted on Saturday, June 05, 2021 - 01:17 am:        I replaced the center part of my cable, but had to use a cable end that attaches to the cable with a set screw. If it's possible to get the cable routed without the adjuster, you could cut off the upper cable end, route the cable without the adjuster, put the adjuster section back on, then use a set screw type cable end. I got the cable end at a bicycle shop. it is a little smaller diameter, but works fine.
