Am closing in on getting my new '10 motor installed in the '09 R. Am having no success getting K bracket to frame mounting holes to line up, close, but no cigar. Am wondering if I'll have rotate motor down to rearrange something. Easy to do at this point. Anybody have any knowledge or ideas?

Just finishing putting a new engine in my bike. Once you get the motor mounts done you should be able to line the k brackets to line up

Got the rear and mid motor mounts in no problem. K brackets never removed from cooling pods. Could not get brackets to line up with frame mounting points. Eventually rotated motor up by about a 1/4", 6-7mm. This as seen at mid mount point. Was then able to get brackets lined up. It does leave tension in the cooling pods. Now working to get all the shroud bolts in. The adventure continues.
