You sold your Thunderbolt and now your selling your Lightning, both of which you put a lot of care into. Are you moving away from Buells? What are you keeping instead? |

I have a YJP S2 that’s pristine that doesn’t get ridden that I should probably sell. I have an 1125r that’s very nice that doesn’t get ridden much I should probably sell too. I have another white on white S1W, that I just like better and really having two S1s is ridiculous lol. I recently bought two relatively rare moto Guzzis that have been getting a good bit of attention from me lately (thanks to jolly for turning me on to Guzzis haha). I bought a 18 Ural Gear up in the fall for a steal that i could not pass up. Urals are the best for riding with the kids. And I have my Kawi gpz750 turbo. So, 8 bikes is getting a little crazy. I could use the money from a couple bikes to pay off the ural. However, the buell market is so soft it’s sad. I’ve got about $6500 wrapped up in this one, probably $4k into my S2 and there’s no way I could get close to that for it. I put a price I’m comfortable selling for, knowing I’ll never be able to replace them. :/ Long story short, no I’m not getting away from buells entirely but, I really need to do something about this hoarding haha! |

Wow, I'm really impressed. Not so much that you have eight motorcycles, anybody can buy a bunch of bikes. What impresses me is that you manage to put so much care and effort into them. Most people, myself included, would be hard pressed to do that with one bike much less eight. Thanks for the response. |

Thanks Court. You may see in the news this week they are grounding the whole fleet. One caught fire on the ground in CA recently and they narrowed down tbe cause to these little microchips that are attached to the 3.5mm audio jacks. Apparently they can overheat and create a fire hazard without tripping a breaker. So, emergency AD will likely come out Monday and I’ll have to ferry it to Knoxville to have the 3.5mm jacks disabled and chips removed. It’s a flying iPhone, awesome aircraft that does something no other aircraft is capable of, all with the added safety of an airframe parachute system. This is #135 of 148 or so in existence. They are cutting their teeth on a few issues. |

Better half went through that with her Falcon 17 years ago . . . they'll sort it out. I've been getting the bug to jump back in and noticed the Vision immediately. It sounds like . . . of all the bugs you could encounter . . . the AD for a chip on the jack will be straightforward to resolve. Have fun ! |

Jeremy, I got your message. I’m working today and tomorrow tenatively. I’ll give you a call. I’ve got one interested person, he’s in Miami and it may be a month or so before he can buy it. If you can move any quicker, I’d be game. -William |

It went to Jeremy and I believe he sold it and the Patriot Missle to Kaplan I’m sure they are both in good hands! I see photos of her pop up time to time. I plan to make another one of these days I hope!! https://youtu.be/zfBGrKL3aOg |

You wouldn’t believe this bike when I bought it. The intake valves were rusted shut.

Very cool. I watched the video a handful of times when Kaplan posted it, had no idea it was the same bike. Looks great, I wish I could have scooped it up. |
