I had a hanging idle at 2000, bad mpg, and an high AFV in the high 120% to low 130% I started to do the seals but a found a 90% fitting on the side of the throttle body that was uncapped. Could this be causing my issues? I have a picture but it is too big to attach and I can't seem to edit the pixel size.   Smorris Posted on Saturday, April 10, 2021 - 09:09 pm:        I think it is not the issue. It's been addressed on here before, but can't tell you what the people in the know had to say, but my OCD made me put a rubber nipple cap on it just so I wouldn't think about it each time I noticed it   Tpehak Posted on Sunday, April 11, 2021 - 11:51 am:        This fitting has outlet above the throttle plate? If so it can not affect idle speed regardless if it is open or closed. You need to keep it closed to prevent dirt be sucked into the intake.   Tootal Posted on Thursday, April 15, 2021 - 05:41 pm:        Tpehak is correct. Sounds like it's your seals. Test them with brake cleaner or WD40.
