I guess I need to update my profile. A good e-mail address is kimberliewood@comcast.net Our home address is Mike & Kimberlie Wood, 13926 NE Rose Pkwy, Portland OR 97230. Shotgun - You and your wife and everyone who has donated their shirts to this cause are the best. Thank you to the Sunset Thunder Club too. Code Red has a new race bike in the stable. He got his Metrakit 50cc MiniGP bike today and has already been up to 2nd gear! It was pretty funny to watch Mike run behind him yelling "pull in the clutch - pull in the clutch". Cody did great and is so excited about the bike. Mike said he is scared, since he know's how fast it can go, stock out of the box is 70mph. Cody only weighs 53 lbs, so that is scarey. He did really well and kept the rubber side down and only killed it once. He will keep working on it. You know when I was learning how to ride, I remember balance and turning being the hardest thing, he has an advantage, so I hope he picks up the shifting part quick. The shifting is gp style so it is backwards from what we all do. Up one and down 5. We will keep you posted with his progress. The money from the raffle will be used to get him some air fare to race in Vegas, CA and possibly even FL. Thank you again to everyone who supports Cody through donations to the raffle, your kind thoughts & all the support at the track. We love you all and have enjoyed this racing adventure along with you. Kimberlie ps....can someone get me a kleenex! edited by kimberlie on June 03, 2004 |

Oh FB - that is the bomb. I love my boys.... Thank you for posting that up! Mike is so dedicated to our boys (thank God we didn't have girls or Barbie would no longer be riding in a corvette. She would be on a sport bike), not many men will sell their own toys to buy toys for their kids. He is down to just one bike and a loaner when her wants it (my bike that is). Pray for sun on Sunday, they say it is suppose to rain and that means a wet race day - yuck! |

Kimberlie, I am quilter and wanted to know where you found all the wonderful t-shirts for your quilt. My husband just bought a few tickets. Thanks, Tabitha, (wife of Buell_Brener) |

The t-shirts were donated by friends of Cody. |

Tabitha, if you're thinking about doing a Buell Tee shirt quilt, check with Court Canfield. He still has cases of shirts in his storage from when he worked for Buell. Maybe you could make 2 and donate one to Team Elvis. For sure, then you'd get all the tee shirts you need. Friends of Cody really came thru on this one. Not all of the tee shirts were that were donated were used, some were too plain, some were more like shop rags than shirts, and some just didn't fit once I got started. If you have any other questions, feel free to ping me at my profile email. |

Did anyone here attend the "Mods & Rockers" ride (sponsored by Big People's Scooters & the Cretins MC) in Seattle yesterday? If interested, I can put up some photos here. 80+ cool bikes & scooters, and lots of cool riders! |

Sportbike West is an enormously good time. More than 400 nutbars on sportbikes doing a hot lap of the Okanagan valley. I've gone several times but haven't the budget this year. And, in the wrong thread,I know, but does anyone have a stock ignition module that would fit the S2? Like from an S1 or M2? I'm having troubles with the 5200 rev limiter and again haven't the budget for much. |

Mods & Rockers Ride, 06/06/04. It it eminently more fun to ride with many different kinds of bikes than with only one kind! At the Cretins' clubhouse. Guzzinerd 175cc Motobi Cretin bikes H-D Sprint / Aermacchi Waiting at the wrong bridge... Scoots at Alki 1951 Sunbeam Bob, the eldest Cretin and our "leader." |
