Hello Buellers, Looking to part ways with my 2000 X1 Lightning. Bike is awesome and runs excellent, I put in a decent amount of work to polish off it's performance/longevity. I would love to get $5500 to break even, but open to reasonable offers. BadWeb gets first picks before I post on Craigs/Facebook.I apologize for the wetness in the pics, Just hosed it off before taking the pics. More info after pictures
Second owner The bike is BONE STOCK, save for the Twin Motorcycle shock I installed after the original shock died. Still have that part if you want it. Recent services done to the bike: -New Fuel Pump -Both sets of rocker box gaskets updated -Twin Motorcycle Rear Shock -K&N air filter -Updated Aluminum Gas cap fix -All new Fuel lines and filter (plus one extra filter still in box) -Newer tires, Shinko 009 Ravens installed at 9100 miles -Lubed cables -Fuel pressure regulator purchased but not installed, in case it ever goes out you have the part on hand Things the bike needs: -Turn signals (stock ones are floppy, have em tapped up as seen in the pictures) -Right passenger peg spins in place, I never ride two up so doesn't effect me -Toe peg, original owner broke off original in a driveway topple. I installed a bolt and it works fine for my liking -Thats it! I am in the Bay Area, California. Please reach out to me on this ad for any questions or at kiki.morin2@gmail.com for purchase/location details for an in person showing, thanks! |

If you're on facebook, suggest you post your bike here... it's a specific group for Northern California Buell and EBR people.. and if the link doesn't show up correctly, do a facebook search for NorCal Buell & EBR https://www.facebook.com/groups/297805197313575 |

@R_travaglini Thanks! I would love to see your X1W, I think they're one of the best Buells! I bought the long model, listed as 42cm or 16.54in. If you just measure your current shock from eye hole to eye hole it should give you the length you need if you're thinking about purchasing. It is an awesome shock, super sturdy and tons of adjustability. Perfect for street applications |

@Piercethekiki: I did already order the shock, will reach home next Monday I ordered the short as it is the one that should fit the 2001 onward. I could not measure it once installed as it was being disassembled in an attempt to rebuild it. |
