I don't know that a warfare-civil-war is on the horizon...but a cultural one certainly is. If the Left insists on trying to cancel 50%(+?) of the population of the USA (globe?)...where do those people go? They make their OWN culture. So, had the news on in the background this morning while getting ready for work. They were talking about "20,000 NG troops in DC preparing for the inauguration", and it's "all in the name of safety". Has it occurred to anyone (probably not) that this REALLY makes us look like a dictatorship? Our incoming "leader" has to line up FOUR TIMES the normal amount of troops, in a CIVILIZED CITY (more troops than we have overseas in any one spot, apparently), to protect himself and his party. This is gonna look like some show of power march of the sort that Rocket Man would set up for himself... Has it occurred to anyone on the Left that their candidate just isn't that popular, and maybe their party needs to do something to placate more than half the nation? Instead of simply saying "fall in line, citizen, and do what we tell you"? Probably not...but hey, that's what I get for having common sense, I suppose. | ||
