I havent been here in a while, I'll say this, look around, make a few posts and be on my way for a few days How is it that my state, NC, went so hard on Trump and every Republican...except the D gov who shut down our economy for six months? How does that stupid crap work? We still got that jackbutt in office. And, now, we got Harris to worry about. I dont worry about Joe, I dont think Joe will be in office for too long, if Im honest. I worry about his health ('worry'), I think he'll be forced to step aside. I do worry about Harris. There is not a good thing I can say about her. Hope you all had a safe NYE and things have been going well. If you get to Winston Salem, send me a message |

If all Americans would be so ignorant,so unwilling to face that there is not a single proof of Trump‘s lies and phantasies,if all would be so easy to influence by a guy who is more than obviously sick in his mind, than I would sell my Buell and my Harley today.I would be ashame to ride anything that says:Made in the US of A. Fortunately the majority in the US elected Biden. |

That was confusing. Triple negative? Your point is you'd be ashamed to be American... If Everyone believed?? What? That there was no fraud, that any rumors of fraud were Russian Propaganda, because the Bad Orange Man is Puppet of Putin? Yeah, I'd be a bit freaked out that Everyone believed such utter bilge. Fortunately that's not so. Plenty do so believe, unfortunately. Despite a special investigation by a team that was explicitly hostile to the President, ( with multiple leakers lying about the proceedings, not incidentally committing felonies by both violating laws against releasing details of an ongoing investigation, and uttering falsehoods about those details ) that found no evidence of Russian bribes or blackmail, at least concerning Donald. ( Joe,otoh... hasn't been cleared ) And that the policies of the current administration are certainly not Pro-Putin: a strengthened NATO, pressure on the U.N. to protect gays imprisoned or executed, and energy independence from Putin's Russia possible for a blackmailed Europe. ( just to point out a few Russia related policies that Putin Puppet wouldn't have ) Note I'm not defending the classiness or even temper of Trump, Biden, Oboma, or anyone else. Joe threatening to punch citizens that question him, Donald twitting folk who accuse him of incest, Obama commenting on the guilt of citizens before the investigation is minutes old, If these weren't rich men, "the most powerful in the world" Employees of ours, you'd consider them cranks like that racist uncle no one wants at Thanksgiving dinner. But, because they Are, it's Worse. Anyway, I look forward to your brilliant clarification. |

Correction! Our German friend isn't ashamed to be, but to own, American hardware. My mistake. If his complaint is that Donald annoys him to the degree machines made decades before he got into politics are now tainted, I disagree. I was the happy owner of a VW. I didn't blame the crew at Wolfsburg for the company's past association with the third biggest murderer in human history, or Angela who was political leader after my VW was built. ( in Mexico, funny enough ) I liked it for the torque, the technology, and the great efficiency. Unfortunately, it was a Diesel, and there were... Issues. Insert here rant on German Engineering. I get the impression that the last German engineer who cared about repair access was Kurt Tank. And the biodegradable wiring begins rotting the day it's installed, plus mice find it delicious. ( but that's political idiocy, not engineering ) Still, despite my buddy's mantra, "friends don't let friends buy German cars" with reason, ( mechanic, pro, bikes to buses ) his reasons have nothing to do with politics. It's how many hours of labor to get to the most often replaced parts. On a Mercedes engine you need to remove accessories and manifolds, etc. On a Cummings, you reach in and unscrew it, replace and back in service in 45 seconds. So, no matter if you hate the Bad Orange Man or Just Joe, neither person is a good reason to be ashamed of an American product. Get back to me if the Harris/Biden* regime policies cause your heat and lights to be turned off when Vladimir turns the valve on the gas pipeline from Russia. My prediction is you Really will miss the good old days of 2019. |

Oh, btw, I really did like that Sportwagen. Since I seldom drive at, uh, high speeds, ( in my opinion, etc. YMMV ) I seldom had to strain the engine to go fast enough. If I cruised at 100 instead of 70-75 ( respecting local laws, blah blah butt cover ) I'd probably prefer the 2.0 gasoline turbo, but the TDI just thrusts you smoothly along in the hills at speed. Often without ever downshifting. And the dual-clutch transmission was nigh perfection. If I'd kept it, I'd have installed a box to reprogram it to... More manual? Anyhoo... Watch the Top Gear video on the dual -clutch. And the chassis/suspension was a GTI. Basically defines Hot Hatch. Good car. Got my money's worth despite mice eating wires, twice. |

They finally found the voter fraud: https://www.yahoo.com/news/trumps-lessthanperfect- call-to-georgia-officials-could-also-be-a-crime-22 1455096.html If you do a little poking around you can listen to the actual conversation of Trump asking them to "find" over 11,000 votes for him. If he committed a crime he should go to jail. Ditto any other politicians. However, there are so many factual errors, aka bull, in that editorial that there's no reason to believe a word. But I'm all for sending politicians to jail. Simply a rewrite of quid pro quo limits, which currently and deliberately are written to make bribery near impossible to prove, would be nice. While we're at it, is releasing a recorded phone call with the President not a crime? (Message edited by aesquire on January 04, 2021) |

Civil War is here. Prepare with water, food, and ammo. Organize with your neighbors as outlined in the "Civil Defense Manual" by Jack Lawson. civildefensemanual.com. It is worth the money. We are entering into a dark era where Antifa/BLM will escalate into organized armed militias and they will be coming for you and your family. Do you have a sustainable water supply? There are several wells on our defensible hill. If you live in California or New York, get the out of there before it is too late. We love Arizona in spite of Maricopa County which we will have to fight. America is over. We will fight a Civil War now and China will be the winner after we have eaten ourselves. Just like what happened in France, China, Russia, and Germany, a Patriot Dictator will rise and replace the US Constitution to restore order and greatness of America. Sad but probably true. Our Federal Government has failed through corruption and theft. I await my orders from our Commander in Chief, President Trump, who won the 2020 Election. |

VP Pence has rightly concluded that he should not reject or choose which electoral slates ought to be counted, but what is stopping VP Pence from sending the issue back to the state legislatures for clarification, where the GOP slates would then be officially and constitutionally appointed by the legislatures rather than the state executives? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mob-violence-halt s-hill-election-debate-trump-accused-of-inciting-p rotesters Media Buzz: Mob violence halts Capitol Hill election debate, Trump accused of inciting protesters 'The indelible images will define the end of the Trump presidency' By Howard Kurtz | Fox News When President Trump addressed a big crowd of protesters outside the White House Wednesday, he was caught between two historic defeats. As he vowed never to concede, as he slammed "weak" and "pathetic" Republicans, as he denounced the "fake news" media in unusually harsh terms, the president was drawing blame for the Georgia results that put the Democrats on the brink of taking control of the Senate. And Trump was in effect the warmup act for the congressional debate forced by some of his GOP allies over the Electoral College results--an effort that even they acknowledged was doomed to failure. And then things really got bad. As Congress began its debate, hundreds of flag-waving protesters breached barricades and some made their way into the Capitol, forcing a lockdown and the evacuation of Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as the House and Senate debates were halted. Tear gas was used in the Capitol Rotunda; lawmakers were given gas masks and told to shelter in place. Things escalated from there, with an armed standoff outside the House floor. Several officers were injured. It was a shocking spectacle, angry demonstrators trying to shut down the electoral process, and MSNBC and CNN anchors repeatedly blamed Trump for inciting the lawlessness. National Review’s Andy McCarthy said the same on Fox. It was anarchy of the sort we would expect to see in certain Third World countries. There was a pathetic photo of a protester sitting in the presiding officer’s chair on the Senate floor. There was video of protesters smashing Capitol windows and climbing in. One woman was shot in the chest on the Capitol grounds. [She later died.] Capitol Police couldn’t handle the rioters, asking the D.C. police, who should have been defending the building from the start, for help. The city imposed a 6 p.m. curfew. It was an unbelievable miscalculation. And why the maddening delay in activating the National Guard? After a long silence, Trump finally tweeted: "Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement...Stay peaceful!" And later: "I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence!" For the president’s critics, it was the physical embodiment of Trump refusing to accept the verdict of a lawful election. His most unhinged supporters, called to the Capitol by Trump, perhaps whipped up by his words, were literally stopping the constitutional process of certifying the next president. It was a white riot. One hundred years from now, this sad tableau will be remembered as an assault on democracy. The indelible images will define the end of the Trump presidency. Of course, it is not entirely the fault of Trump or Sen. Ted Cruz or Sen. Josh Hawley or the more peaceful protesters that things spiraled out of control. But it is the president, who insists on election fraud that no court or his own Justice Department has confirmed, who will be remembered as fomenting the potentially dangerous insurrection. With Trump staying off television, it was Joe Biden who seized the moment, condemning extremists for "this godawful scene" and urging Trump, whom he indirectly accused of incitement, to "step up" and appeal for calm. Moments later, Trump posted a video in which he started off with the "stolen" election, urged his supporters to "go home" and added: "We love you." Even before the Capitol siege, the politics were running against Trump. In his speech, the president said he hoped Mike Pence would "do the right thing...and we become president and you are the happiest people." But the vice president simply refused, telling the Hill that the Constitution gives him no "unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not." Perhaps the day’s most striking moment came when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a fierce partisan who has been such a Trump loyalist, used language that any Democrat would have been happy to embrace. The Kentucky senator, citing all the losing lawsuits and "sweeping conspiracy theories," said that if Congress overruled the voters, "we could damage our republic forever...Our democracy would enter a death spiral. We’d never see the whole nation accept an election again." Appearing pained, McConnell said they were being asked to follow "a poisonous path" and instead must choose "a higher calling than an endless spiral of partisan vengeance." Sen. Chuck Schumer agreed, not surprisingly, calling it a "very sad comment on our times that simply accepting an election is considered an act of political courage." But McConnell’s oratory was the powerful moment. For those Trump supporters who believe the media are squelching evidence of election fraud, who think that dissenting Republicans are betraying him, yesterday was the day when his own vice president and Senate majority leader broke with him. In this overheated environment, the major issue in Tuesday’s Georgia runoffs for two Senate seats was Trump. In fact, his first words at a Monday night rally in the state was that the state had been stolen from him. That raised the pressure on Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who said on the eve of the election that she would vote with the Ted Cruz faction to challenge the Electoral College results. The appointed Republican senator was caught between trying to placate the president and his base and not looking like a sycophant. Raphael Warnock, a pastor who preached at Martin Luther King’s old Ebeneezer Baptist Church, beat her to become Georgia’s first black senator. Democrat Jon Ossoff emerged with a 16,000-vote lead over incumbent Sen. David Perdue, with the expectation that his lead would grow when all the ballots were counted. If so, Kamala Harris would be able to break a 50-50 tie. But that is a battle for another day. Jan. 6, 2021 was the day when Washington lost control, when America lost control, and when Donald Trump lost control of the forces he unleashed. |

Well Rand Paul is now on my list of "won't piss on their head if their hair was on fire" people. He's interviewing now saying "this is not a federal issue, it's a state issue (correct), and it needs to be fixed at the state level, not the federal level (correct), in order to preserve the Electoral College." ...and here's where it goes downhill... "I will spend the next year petitioning the states to reform their procedures, and their techniques (read: I'll form a committee), SO THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN" (emphasis mine). So...he's ADMITTING this election is a sham. He's ADMITTING illegal shit was done. He's ADMITTING the whole process is broken. He's ADMITTING the election was stolen from the rightful winner. But - just like all the rest - he's REFUSING TO GROW A PAIR AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Send it back to the states. NOW. Make them fix it. NOW. Don't just say "yea, the states shouldn't have been able to end-run the system and make new rules that allowed this to happen" and leave it at that...GET OUT THERE AND FIX IT. It was also said (not sure who said it) "we need people to understand that Congress will not be subjected to the whims of the people like this, we will not be told what to do". Um. YOU WORK FOR ****US****, DIPSHIT. GO DO YOUR JOB. This is absolutely disgusting. What a bunch of self-serving assholes. This system doesn't need a tuneup, it needs a full-blown frame-off restoration. Tear it all down, keep the VIN plate, throw out the rest of the garbage, and rebuild it with all-new parts. "We won't let people tell us what to do" off. It's your JOB to do what your constituents tell you to do. And, the people are PISSED. Go fix it. NOW. |
