I wanted to thank Glendale HArley for the BUell demo today! It was nice. I got to check out an XB12, get my slingbag and got free food too. It was good stuff. Thank to Glendale HD and Buell for being KEWL. I must also add it was nice to go in there and they actually had Buell stuff in stock! |

Thanks to Al for his posting of the Sunday, 5/23 ride. I enjoyed it and met some new people because of it. It was good to get together with some fellow Buellers. |

Attention all track-day in Pahrump go'ers... Sadly for me due to a lack of funds for rubber and etc, and because work was not for sure going to let me go, I had to wuss out and be a big girl (no offense to the girls) and not sign up for the track day. HOWEVER- I am going to be need to be in Vegas this weekend with my bike because my step Dad got a sport bike again (finally) and we both miraculously have the weekend off- which never happens. Soooo... Is anyone from around here riding up there late Friday? Or, if nobody is, is anyone trailering there late friday who is as cheap as me and wants to save gas $$$$? Or, if nobody is, does anyone need for me all by myself to haul anything (or any person?) for them in or on my Jeep and small utility trailer? As of right now I dont know what I'm doing, but I am doing it for sure. I'm sorry I missed the ride Barbera and Nelson and everyone, I was sick. |

Hey guys, Ok, I got a few. Not as many as I would have liked, and I didn't get any of anyone riding, because when it was time to ride...I was, well riding...go figure. For anyone who doesn't know, these are pictures from the Golden State BRAG track day at Pahrump NV. We had a huge turnout and got lots of quality track time in. We were provided with excellent instruction, and every aspect of the event was handled with professionalism that made the weekend a real treat, like living a fantasy for me. Like I said, I got a few pics, so here goes. The HUGE flag at the casino. Discussing bike set-up (IIRC). Half of our pits. The other half of our pits. Candice Hurley at the end of day one. Ernie checking tire pressures on his awesome S1. More goings on in the pits. Patrick and Ernie working on Patricks bike. My "new" tire afterwards (sheesh!) Well, that's all for now boys and girls. Well... it's a go. Barring unforseen problems - we are paid up and arriving Thursday afternoon at Fontana for setup and getting ready for practice on Friday, racing Saturday!!! Schedule of events is at the WERA website: http://wera.com/pdf/fontananat061304.pdf Please come out and stop by the garages. We're there all day Friday and Saturday. During races and especially during the hour leading up to it, we may be less sociable as we're listening for announcements and doing final setup but other than that, the purpose is just to be there and HAVE FUN! Stop by and say HI to Team Lavin-Yurassov Racing! Fread Steve Tim Chris Steve B. Steve L. Hutch James Jeremy Candice Sunny |

From Barbara Beauchamps email list... if you aren't on this list, contact Barbara at bk_beauchamp at msn.com (formatted to frsutrate the webcrawler email harvester robots). If you need her phone number, gimme a call at the shop. ------------------ Hi, There is a 6-hour endurance race at the Fontana Speedway on Saturday. Racing starts at 11:30. Fread Finnerty, Tim Hurley, Steve Slaughter, and Chris Maty (hoping I got everyone right and spelling correct) are running a Buell. Steve says to make sure you stop by Lavin-Yurassov Racing's "hospitality suite" in the garage/pit area. At the San Diego meeting last night we decided to try to get a ride together to go up. A group will meet at San Diego Harley-Davidson in Kearny Mesa at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning and leave by 9:30. The current plan is for anyone interested to join up with them at either I-15 & Highway 76 in Oceanside or at I-15 & Highway 79 South in Temecula. Call or email me if you think you want to join in so that I can let the San Diego group know and we can coordinate times. Feel free to just go directly to the Speedway and watch the races. /bkb

Hey SCABbers, I can't make the meeting tonight, but I AM going to Laguna Seca. I think Forger (Tom, Reindog) and I are going to do the entire drive up on the Friday before the races. Even if Tom doesn't go, I AM doing it that way, as I can't strand Joanne back here at the shop for two days after all the days away at No Wine'n and Homecoming. So if anyone has similar issues with not being able to take two days off and wants to ride with us on Friday, please make them aware of our plans at tonight's meeting. I THINK our plan for the return trip will be to ride halfway home after the races, grab a room, and get home partway through Monday. If anyone going from San Diego to the meeting tonight wants to stop by here at the shop to grab some raffle trinkets, gimme a call. Al |
