I prefer it secured to my body (IWB holster), not just rattling around in a pocket. I know...they make pocket holsters for trigger coverage (that DA/SA revolver would be less of a trigger worry anyway)...I just prefer it "strapped" to me, so to speak. I know exactly where my grip is, I know exactly where my mag release is, and most importantly, I know exactly where my TRIGGER is when I reach for the gun.
Is it going to be just proposing legislation or will it be totalitarian Exec Orders? I sure hope Trump helps those two Georgia senators win. Otherwise, "shall not be infringed" is in even more trouble.
Joe Biden can kiss my ass. Any E.O. can (and will) be challenged in court, and given the current state of SCOTUS I don't see any of these proposals, sticking.
Yet infringe, outright cancel, and arbitrary laws passed after Midnight without legal public review send Citizens to prison as felons for possessing a legally purchased magazine.
No Amendment needed if you don't follow, support, or believe in the Constitution or Any Limits to Power by the Elite.
What's going to stop them?
Bad press? You mean a blogger that gets banned from Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other Chinese government media?
Elections? HA! That era appears to be Over.
You? HA ha ha ha! They figure they have plenty of police willing to violate their oaths to take you down.
Oh, you might be completely, legally, and morally right. So what? They care nothing of those illusions. They'll just lie. It's What They Do. And send masked thugs. It's What They Do.
Unfortunately, that's not how it's been for the past 86 years...and frankly...we shouldn't be accepting of any of these blatant infringements...but here we are.
If I were an AR owner, I'd keep my eye open for a bolt action rifle to buy to be able to keep shooting at the range. Like-minded folks there, but you never know.
I'll remind you that Handgun Control aka The Brady Campaign To Exploit A Crippled Person who can't defend themselves, has long ( since the 1970s ) adopted Alinsky Strategies to take your rights and Property.
Isolate, Demonize, Ban, Next!
I still think you'll be able to buy a bolt action rifle until 2022. Depends, if there's an election...

Apologies if this has been covered but the "gas filters" being sold on FB are very tempting- at first breath. The second breath is more more like, that's not right. A quick search on the forums seem to uncover a scheme to entrap gun owners into getting caught buying silencers illegally, and I assume leading to your gun rights being taken away. Strange how this stuff pops up after searching for gun parts on the internet.

Which search engine directed you to entrapment? ( bet ya Google or Bing )
I've seen the "oil filter" ads too. Google directed. Entrapment scam makes sense. The BATF certainty has had people complain. Especially on "asocial media" where the Karens live.
Assuming half that is bull, you can't "stand your ground" 500 feet later. The guy who defended himself seems to have gone too far?
But the judges comments show blatant disregard for so many legal and moral principles. He shouldn't be a judge, or they misquoted him.
And I wonder what evidence the cops have that led to this begging crud? Did they witness the shooting? Have street cameras? Audio?
Dude needs a good lawyer.
And the reporting is criminal.
One horrible aspect of this is I can see a scenario where the perpetrator is kneeling, hands up, and hearing sirens, figuring he's safe, threatening to come back and torture murder the victim's family. That qualifies as reasonable fear for your & other's lives, the ONLY legitimate reason to pull the trigger on a human. I'm pretty sure that's a hard sell to a grand jury.
They intimated that it is a stand your ground case. It isn’t. Nor was the Zimmerman case. The former is murder, the latter, self defense. Neither is stand your ground. But, from what I’ve noticed, the press misses no opportunity to muddy the water regarding stand your ground laws.
That's a problem with lousy "reporting". You don't know if the shooting was self defense or freaked out unjustified. It sure looks bad on the few so called facts, but we are also told the guy who got shot is a premature baby or egg. He's in an incubator.
No, you can't reject a news story because of a typo, but there's so many sketchy and supposed claims that the only thing we "know" is a home invasion? robbery? burglary? lover's spat? went bad and the alleged perp got shot. 580 feet? An oddly exact number.
I admit there aren't a lot of scenarios where there is justification for chasing someone past your curb. And I'm sure not convinced the shooting is justified, not from that abortion of a news story.
I agree the emphasis on stand your ground in the article is most likely anti civil rights leftist $%&# propaganda. And gee golly the judge already knows who's guilty.
I wonder what happened to all that ammo that was ordered under Obama? All the obscure agencies that have armed personnel is amazing (not the current usage of the word, the original!)
ATF has new proposals for arm braces. Let the games begin. I knew the bump stock ban would lead to this. There's probably no end to their regulatory overreach now.
