Some contact pages. The arm brace issue has implications that affect some four to five million consumers estimated to have them in their possession, and could affect policy decisions regarding pistols in general. https://www.fracaction.org/contact-officials https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-re presentative# |

This is more political BS by the ATF. Ava Flanell has an interview with Kevin Brittingham from Q and one with Alex Bosco from SB Tactical about this on her Gun Funny podcast .. https://www.gunfunny.com/ |

Success!!
Third try - took some fiddling with foam densities to get a good "wrap", and some tweaking here and there to get the tac light to be able to slide in and out...and my toaster oven STINKS now...but I like the shell. Retention is great, draw is easy, and as an added bonus I somehow managed to shape it so that it activates the tac light when I draw. Don't ask me how...but I'll take it! Now to finish break-in, so I can put it into EDC duty. |

I would like a rig like that. Some padding would be nice at times. I went with the carbon fiber on my current because .. carbon fiber but I turns out I prefer the carbon fiber to kydex on more than looks.

The backer is from Alien Gear. It's their Cloak Tuck 3.5 setup - a sheet of stainless covered in vinyl on the holster side, and neoprene on the body side. Super comfortable, which is why I made a new shell to fit on it (the original was for my XD-s). |

https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/nssf-gun-contro l-foes-dont-fear-judge-amy-coney-barrett-they-fear -the-law/ I watched part of the hearing last night. They weren't "questioning" her...they were browbeating her with endless speeches, with not a question in sight. She took it all, with grace and dignity. |

quote:She took it all, with grace and dignity.
That's an understatement. D: We're take her to task on understanding family values and motherhood. R: But, she has 7 Children. D. Damn . . then we'll tag her as a racist. R: But, 2 of the children are Black. D: Arrrrrghhhhhhhhh She is smart as a whip, plays no games and realizes that a deathbed wish does not trump (pardon) the constitution.
quote:In 2016, Ginsburg said president is 'elected for four years not three years'
NOTE: Some are disputing that quote and I stand ready to retract my assertion if that is not, substantially, what she said. The various Fact Check articles I found did not seem to dispute it, they only seemed pissed off that sources would not respond to their inquiries. I invite correction, if warranted. Now . . . back to reading the story of Hunter Biden banging the widow of Beau, his deceased brother. . . before she dumped him and he turned to hookers and coke . . . you'd think this guy was a pro athlete. You can't make this crap up. And . . . I am loving the "legally blind" guy who ran the shop where the laptop with all the lewd pics of Hunter and the 40,000 e-mails were. I'm pretty much beyond caring who wins . . . I'm just loving the show. |

She's great. I know the Kavanaugh nomination and how he was attacked was complete bs but she seems more impressive to me than Kavanaugh did. By the way, I had to laugh out loud when I heard a Dem Senator talk about conservative activist judges. |

Confirmation: I read it and some of the comments. I have long been a person that didn't avoid trouble. My mind set has changed. I prefer the other person to say, "We gonna fight". At one time I wrote on the inside of my windshield, "His children" with a grease pencil. It reminded me that the idiots outside my car were God's kids. It slowed down my knee jerk reactions. |

Nice job on holster! Re: defensive mindset Common sense unfortunately isn't. Never threaten. Never start a fight. Never be cruel. ( that one's from Dr. Who ) There are other ways to say, "Don't start trouble" unless it's needful. When you HAVE to use violence, it's a whole complex subject. Avoiding riots is one way to not have to. You can go on & on about that, avoid big cities, Iran, volcanoes.... |

In contrast to my usual gloom, I went to the range! Woods, actually, good mountain for a back stop & an easy 140 yards. Years ago, I traded a mint Yugo SKS for an old Winchester 94. Buddy's wife wanted an SKS, and I found this Yugoslavia made one, with grenade gear. I never shot it, just purchased and traded. Iirc it was $250, which was a good buy, then. And I figured a '94 is well worth that. & I was told it "shot good" by a retired Marine. But for life reasons it sat in a closet for years. It rematerialized recently, my Buddy had mounted a scope on the Yugo, & had a brand new Remington 700 ( stainless, .30-06 ) his wife won for him in a gun raffle. She's a keeper! It takes about 7 rounds, & the 700 is within a hand. No bench available so we'll haul out the sandbags at the benches at the club later. It had a ? Loaner scope & we were shooting from standing & literally sitting in a folding chair to clear the high grass. Gun was new, trigger excellent, I got 3 in 4", offhand. Dang. I doubt the rubber inlays in the stock will last a century, but the action should. Then the SKS. He's complained it can't hit anything. He fitted a receiver cover mount & matching cheap$h+\ scope. Did a good job. No play. ( I don't like that style mount ) It took several rounds before I finally saw dirt flying and after cranking the scope & testing, repeatedly, we finally dialed it onto the 2x1' cardboard box that was our red neck target mount. Then, despite a heavy trigger, and a Chinese disposable scope with a tiny eyebox, it's decent. It's a real scope and a trigger job away from finished. I hope he gets happier with it now. And the anticlimax to our long sighting in extravaganza, the old '94 casually put 3 into a palm sized group to point of aim. No finish to speak of, and years of hard life in canoes and woods, American Steel. |

I have a pistol spinner and a couple plates to set up here, yet. I have a 33% and 66% AR500 rifle plates to set up. The 33% I'll use mostly for rifle shooting. The 66% primarily for pistol. |

Interesting lever gun news: September 30, 2020 Sturm, Ruger and Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) announced today that its offer to purchase substantially all of the Marlin Firearms assets was accepted by Remington Outdoor Company, Inc. and approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama. The Company will pay the $30 million purchase price from cash on hand at the time of closing, which is expected to occur in October. "The value of Marlin and its 150-year legacy was too great of an opportunity for us to pass up," said Ruger President and CEO Chris Killoy. "The brand aligns perfectly with ours and the Marlin product portfolio will help us widen our already diverse product offerings." The transaction is exclusively for the Marlin Firearms assets. Remington firearms, ammunition, other Remington Outdoor brands, and all facilities and real estate are excluded from the Ruger purchase. Once the purchase is completed, the Company will begin the process of relocating the Marlin Firearms assets to existing Ruger manufacturing facilities. "The important thing for consumers, retailers and distributors to know at this point in time," continued Killoy, "is that the Marlin brand and its great products will live on. Long Live the Lever Gun." G |

What a stupid #u(k... https://duckduckgo.com/?q=JOE+BIDEN+SHOOT+%27EM+IN +THE+LEG&ia=web Can we shoot HIM in the leg, to de-escalate his stupidity? To quote Ron White - "It's illegal to shoot someone in the back...but it's not illegal to shoot them in the leg until they turn around to see who's shooting them!" |

There may yet be a ray of hope. I truly hope this woman is confirmed. She has certainly knocked all their di(ks in the dirt throughout this process...they try to trip her up, she simply smiles, shuts them down (from memory)...and waits for the next speech...er...question.
