Don't buy Nike? It's a little thing but each of us in less than 1 in 200 million. So go for the small and useful. You won't waste your money on stupidly expensive sneakers, you won't get mugged for them, you won't support Chinese slave labor, and you won't support millionaire athletes sponsored by Nike. It won't change a lot, especially if you already were too smart to buy $500 sneakers, but it's darn easy. You can do a bit more if you write letters to the advertisers on your least favorite tv Fake News channels. But remembering the 1-200,000,000 ratio, it isn't much. And I really doubt one "conservative" voice gets any traction, since you aren't part of an insane Leftist Mob that both actually burns businesses and also spends lots of Daddy's money. I just remind myself, I'm not Batman. Not rich, no super-science utility belt, and not a sociopathic loon bent on revenge against criminals that had nothing to do with my Parent's murder. Seriously, dude is nuts. Personally, since I'm already a cheapskate who doesn't buy Sports Team Clothes, and watch a lot of TV, I don't worry about boycotting anyone unless they are really obnoxious. And today, so many are in terrorized mode that saying the wrong thing, or worse, not lying through your teeth that you support (insert cause here) will wreck your business, I just go to the default win. Living well is your best revenge. Oh & don't buy stupid expensive stuff. Buy stuff that brings you joy. If that's Ferraris, I'm a bit jealous. | ||
