Tim: Be sure to wear yellow masks so we can see you in the midst! Hopefully Road America is crediting us fans who already bought tickets for this weekend for the weekend in late June. See you then and good luck this weekend!

Toni Sunglasses did NOT have a "First Round to Remember," that's for sure. PJ is looking strong on that Superstock Panigale V4! I suspect if it were up to Superbike spec, he'd be ahead of Wyman and fighting for a podium. |

Toni had a rough weekend, for sure, but that's ok. Not a fan. It will be interesting to see if he gels with his new team eventually, since he didn't sound happy in general. RA2: Yes, Tim, you WILL see me there, since they'll let us stinking spectators back in!! Nice job and results for RA1! |

Anybody catch Wes Orloff out running Wes Cooley on the front straight at Road America Heritage race. Orloff on his X1 Pro Thunder bike and Cooley on his Kawasaki GPZ 1100. I think Cooley was giving it all he had to pass Orloff and couldn’t do it. |

What is up with Toni Elias this year? It's like he's completely lost the plot!! |

Can anyone explain to me what happened yesterday at Ridge?? Every website I've checked says Toni Elias was docked a position giving Herrin P5, but no one explains WHY??? What happened?? |

Apparently he was docked 0.850 sec for failing to complete the/a chicane, at some point in the race. |

According to what I read in Roadracing World, that happened after the race was OVER! So WTF??? https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/motoamerica-m ore-from-the-races-at-ridge-motorsports-park/ |

Congratulations, Tim! Will we see the new rig in Jersey next week? Or will we have to wait until Indy in October? https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/motoamerica-t hrashed-bike-racing-strengthens-ties-with-liqui-mo ly/ |

No fans at Laguna this year. We can camp but limited to the campsite. So much fun. F California F Motoamerica |

It wasn't MotoAmerica's call so don't blame them. I'm surprised they're still allowing the camping actually. |

Great to see Tin, Max and the crew at NJMP this weekend. Only bummer is a rumor they may not allow fans in Indianapolis after all... |

Pulling the card with 6 weeks to go. Yes, Motoamerica is to blame. |

https://speedsport.com/motorcycle-racing/moto-amer ica/no-fans-for-laguna-seca-motoamerica-round/ Here is the salient information: "There is a mandatory directive from the Governor of California that states that spectators are not allowed at events like ours, so we have no choice but to follow that directive." Again, I don't see how this is MotoAmerica's fault. They postponed it from an earlier date because the situation was even worse and they'd hoped it would be better by now. As far as I can see, they did everything they could. I'm surprised they are still allowing the campers on the grounds though. |

Steeleagle tells me Indiana has lifted their ban on public gatherings and the Brickyard informs me MotoAmerica tickets will be going out this week. Looking forward to FINALLY spending some time away from home! |

Some needs to punch Newsome in the face. Fuking douche canoe. Destroying people's lives using the facade of the "virus", when it's quite obvious it's a political agenda. Let's just pretend it's a protest and let them turn a blind eye. Seems like white law abiding citizens are the people getting screwed again. Piss on California and Newsome. |

https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/motoamerica-l imited-fan-attendance-allowed-at-indy/ Looks like there won't be any paddock access at Indianapolis after all. That sucks... that was always one of my favorite parts of MotoAmerica races... a chance to talk to the racers and the mechanics in the paddocks. |

Holy CRAP!! So much for Indiana going to Stage or Level 5 on the COVID routine. I'll be at Indy with a Heritage Cup participant, and when we did it at Road America, a lot of the enticement of the concept was fans getting up close and personal with the vintage bikes of yesteryear. MotoAmerica had them all paddocked mostly together so fans could walk by and reminisce. This makes me wonder how many they'll lose of the Heritage participants, who I'm sure go there to show off and shoot the breeze about their bikes with fans. I guarantee they're losing fans with the restrictions. This COVID crap has got to end! I wonder if this is IMS or MotoAmerica pushing the buttons.

I'm pretty sure MotoAmerica would be happy to keep the fans happy. I suspect this is more IMS and Indiana. Remember, IMS originally wanted to charge people for paddock access (something that just doesn't happen at any other track with MotoAmerica or even AMA Pro Superbike before that). Earlier you had said your MotoAmerica contact said there wouldn't be any charge for paddock access despite what the IMS website said. I wonder if this is their way of saying "Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" I also noticed that Indy is NOT on the calendar for 2021 either... |

Well, I'm confirmed for Indianapolis. I finally got the link to download my tickets this afternoon. I printed them off AND saved them to my phone "just in case." |

Woof. I'm out of practice as well as getting old BUT I made it to the Comfort Suites in Indianapolis today. Three straight days at the track (going to look for SteelEagle and Smoke) and then two days back home. I needed this! |

Fortunately for me it's only a 2 hour drive. I got here yesterday and already said hey to Smoke. I'm in the paddock, so ping me and I might be able to meet up outside when it's not before or after a Heritage Cup session. No chicken this weekend, either! Wow. Race 1 today was a race of attrition. Beaubier did NOT have a good day. It looks like when he crashes out, Bobby Fong wins... at least that seems to be the plot this year. |

Wow. Scoltz with a crushed talus and ruptured quad tendon! He took quite the hit apparently. I can't believe they put that many screws in his talus! If it was a piece of wood it would have split into pieces! The human body is fascinating. |
