I have owned my 1125CR for awhile now and really enjoy the bike. Oddly enough when I bought it the windscreen on her was back with the rest of the bike in red. Has never really bothered me but would like to have her all set up as she should be. I can't seem to find this part anywhere and am hoping someone here might be able to help me out. Specifically it is P/N M1601.1ATMBK that I am after. Thanks for your consideration and ride safe! | ||

Rare to find in red, I watch parts for my bikes daily, every now and then a black one shows up for sale, have not seen one in red for quite a while with the exception of a guy selling an entire red set for the Cr... have you considered wrapping it? | ||

I figured that I would take anyone I could get. If red great it could go right on but if another black one I would just have it painted. I have never had anything wrapped and am not familiar with the process. Any reason it would be better than having it painted? Honestly I wouldn't mind having a complete set in each color for the bike if one came along. | ||

Wrapping in vinyl is easy, especially the screen, takes little time, lasts 5-10 years and can be peeled off leaving the original color intact. Doesn't look too bad, a good option to consider. Cross your fingers for me that one turns up at some point. It seems like that is the one fairing piece for these bikes that is hard to come by. | ||

I was keeping an eye out for one in any color for the past six months, finally just went with a CF one as the only options that came up were used ones with similar prices to new after shipping...Twin Motorcycles has a nice one. | ||

That seems to be the realization I'm coming to. I have not seen the one from Twin Motorcycles but I will look into it. Hope do you like the one you got? Pretty happy with it? I know there is not much to it and I'm going to paint or wrap it anyway but I'd still appreciate your hands on opinion. Appreciate all the input guys. What wonderful bikes these are. | ||

It’s a very nice piece. I’ll try to post a pic at some point but the CF is well laid without any missed threads, has very clean creases for the handlebar knockouts, and fit perfectly. It was/is expensive but as it was sent with other items shipping wasn’t a concern. I’m very happy with it and all the other items Twin Moto has sent. | ||

Finally tracked down a red one in reasonable condition. Glad it is an OE part but going to take some polishing to make it as nice as the rest of the bike. Now I guess I need to track down the rest of the body work in black to match the extra black flyscreen. | ||

I’m looking for three white pieces - tank and each rad pod in white. If I can find that my whole black set up (minus the fly screen which you don’t need) will be available. | ||

CeeJay, that sounds good. If and when you come across the whites you are looking for let me know and I would be happy to take the black set off your hands. I'll keep my eyes peeled for white pieces too and let you know if I find any. |
