My question is, how can i tell if i have the latest flash on my ECM. I bought it from an older gentelmans son that receives ownership due to his father passing away. He didnt have any info on the bike other than it was taken very well care of by his father. "His baby" is what he called it. Only had 4722 original miles. So, its basically new. Looks like all recall stuff and charging upgrades have been done already. So, i lucked up with that. It is truly a beast of its own kind and not to be compaired to other sportbikes. Lol any info that will help me will be greatly appretiated. I loaded a "Race" w/ stock exhaust today and the bike runs SO MUCH BETTER now. Guess previous owner changed fuel/timing maps and it was ok but, not real good. Alot better now though. I read in the threads somewhere here and was wondering if there was something i needed to do to get a "GEAR INDICATOR" on my speedo display.   Cupcake_mike Posted on Monday, August 10, 2020 - 10:09 am:        Its an 08 so I believe the only way you can get the gear indicator is to replace your ic (dash) with one from an 09. Your ecm supports it but your display doesn't. I have an 08 with original dash and updated firmware which has the gear indication.
