I've done these a few times now, never posted here though. These are 1/8" aluminum skid plates, powder coated gloss black. I'll have to hunt for a pic of one installed, but they're rough copies of the touratech skid plates. I'm also including the oil filter guards. The only thing NOT included is the mounting bolts (5 of them, torx screws).
Get one here. http://deanadamsdesigns.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=21 |

Love mine! I've slid over a couple curbs and the powdercoat still looks like new! |

Thanks Froggy, it makes sense now. I was going to to try to pass the band through the slots and that just did not seem like a good idea. |

A few people have asked about these again recently, I'm taking orders to make another run of them. I need a minimum of 10 to make it worth doing them. Orders will be taken in until January 6th. If I don't get enough orders by that time, anyone that does place one will be refunded that night. As of today, I have one order in. Want one? I don't typically cross post this stuff, but if anyone is looking for a Uly skid plate, I've got a few available that are currently being fabricated. From the FB posting. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid= 3416436145034226&id=245433732134499 Running a presale, 4th of July, 2020. Code is "7-4-2020" and will get you a 10% discount a couple of things. Skid plates are not in stock yet, but will be done very soon (possibly by the 4th of July, just waiting on powder coating at this point) http://deanadamsdesigns.com/cart.php?target=produc t&product_id=35 http://deanadamsdesigns.com/cart.php?target=produc t&product_id=38 http://deanadamsdesigns.com/cart.php?target=produc t&product_id=21 (Message edited by d_adams on June 29, 2020) (Message edited by d_adams on June 29, 2020) |

Mine is currently in transit - can't wait to bolt it on! Looks like a quality piece of kit in all the photos I've seen of it. |

Any suggestions for mounting when you no longer have the stock muffler? Somehow, I did not realize the the front mounting points would be gone. Rear is easy to work around, not so much for the front. So far at least. |

You could use the chin fairing brackets for an aftermarket exhaust, but I wouldn't recommend it. There's just not enough structural integrity there to survive a hard bashing over a curb or rock to last very long. One or two hits and it would most likely fold up or break the brackets. My suggestion is either a stock exhaust or the factory P&A race exhaust. |
