Steve, I think I have the clamps, and throttle cables. I'll have to dig this weekend. I'm in the process of packing up my shop because I close on my new place next month. Yours for the cost of shipping. Matt |

Thanks, and congratulations on your new place Matt. I'm in no rush. I can easily switch to the chain conversion & sprocket mods for mounting, brake carriers and mid control design/fabrication. You're also only a short ride away. When/ if you find them, I can easily pick up with a brown bag under my arm as a housewarming. I should see if I can find your build thread if you have one. Your bike is kind of the inspiration for this goofy idea. |

It looks like the board I had the build thread on is gone. Buelletinboard. If you need any pics or questions just let me know. Matt |

I'm already ahead. I went out to the back garage to survey the pile of spare parts. The brake line was still attached to the caliper, which was still attached to the forks going back on. The bar clamps were still on top of the triples. It looks like all I'm in need of is the correct length throttle/clutch cables. and the rest falls into the realm of fabrication. (I do hope somebody has a set of rear sets, or at least a decent drawing. That looks to be the most stare and ponder of the project.) |

You can use a uly clutch cable. A xb9/12 is too short if you have the stock blast bars |

They are dropped moto bars ( brand unknown) but the bars on it now are XB12R. Way too short and the pull side of the throttle cable is already frayed. |

Vortec, which way does it point? The factory airbox is not that intrusive, but it sure takes up a lot of space. I'm a loong ways from needing an intake though. My first priority is getting the drawings and dimensions for the brake and sprocket carriers to use on the KZ wheels I've picked up. then figuring out where the foot controls are going, and how to mount them. ( and what needs to be made) I'll be starting a custom thread when I begin the teardown. |

It points down from the carb, a little guy. According to old info it was the best flowing thing on the market. I have it stashed away in storage. I found it when i didnt have a blast, and couldnt let it be crushed like the rest of the bike was going to be |

I googled some pics and like the look of the pro series with the Buell name on the housing. (I presume that's the one?)
If it saves me a couple hours of fab time I can get that much closer at the end of the build. OK , I'll bite how much? |

I now have cables & rearsets, and now am on the hunt for a used XB rear brake rotor. Scoring and minor corrosion is not a major concern, its going to be used almost entirely on dirt. |

Thanks Shoggin. I do have a good one on the wheels I'm saving, for the eventual mutant conversion on my S3, ( but I don't want to stop riding that bike long enough to do the swap). I think I do want the one you're offering, if the cost plus shipping doesn't break the bank. ( E bay used as reference): Are we over or under 30 bucks shipped? |

Don't know where you live, but under. I'm not retiring on Buell parts sales, just trying to help out where I can |
