Hi all. I unnecessarily removed the starter solenoid when taking "harley fix" and stock VR out. FAILED to take photos or draw a diagram of the orientation and proper wiring; as now I'm ready to get this CR rolling. (see Late to the VR party) below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Steve |

http://buellmods.com/content/downloads/manuals/112 5/1125_electrical_manual.pdf Should be page 6-45, but just plug in the connector and put the battery ring on one terminal, and the starter ring on the other one, Doesn't matter which. |

Thanks, Shoggin, and thanks for the link to the electrical manual. When I bought the CR I also got the service manual, but later when the stator died, both the parts and electrical manuals were hard to find. Great info. Thanks again, Steve |

I was wondering, I replaced the solenoid as well,, connected it, but when I press the starter button, I just get clicks, from what the cover looks like, a starter relay. Would one of those be on the circuit too? Likewise I want to get my 2009 1125CR running. It has a full charge, on a tender, just love cruising down the road. Looking at my next bike, a BMW G310GS. |

Put a voltmeter on it and press the start button. You should have more than 9.6V. If it drop farther than that, I'm betting you have a poor connection at the battery, bad battery, or bad connection at the solenoid. |
