My 06 which I have owned since 08, tonight on a evening ride, temp 79,low humidity speed 45, 60. I'm feeling the heat on my legs with my AD1 pants after about 15 minutes. I have insulation inside the frame and the comfort kit on since you can get it. After about 20 minutes the fan kicks in, never did this except on the highway. Oil level is fine. To lean? Timing?I used to ride this bike everyday to work ( semi unemployed or retired now and have a couple of Guzzi's to ride) and the heat was never an issue. So went happen over winter? ? | ||

Too bad you don't know what temp it was running before, but you should check the actual temp its running now before jumping to conclusions. We are all going to be completely guessing here without you doing any diagnosis. Temp can be read (and datalogged) with ECMDroid (free from GooglePlay) and connects to your android phone or tablet with a wireless bluetooth dongle. I like mine from Buelltooth.com Alternatively theres a easy way to make a temp probe oil cap with a meat thermometer for $2. The thread is on here | ||

AS RD said, you could have a varmint nest in the air scoops for the engine or the oil cooler. A quick and easy check before getting too technical. | ||

Buelltooth keeps timing out. Work fine last fall when reset the ECM. | ||

I had a buelltooth dongle that did the same shit, bought the one from the ecmcables.com and never had another problem. | ||

I'd call them before tossing it. I have had nothing but amazing service from them. | ||

If the dongle doesn't seem to be working, try running Buelltooth on another device. My old Galaxy 5 phone doesn't work well, but a $40 Amazon Fire tablet works great! | ||

It seemed to connect this morning,( my only android device is my Kyocera Pro phone that I just use for a GPS ) I went for a ride in record it stopped recording at these settings. TPS 20.1 Rpm 2669 CLT 218 and a AFV of 106.0 | ||

The AFV reading was not the rear it didn't give me a reading ffpr the front. | ||

Those all are very normal. You won't have a front AFV unless you have and enable a front O2. |
