Hello! While working on piecing together the old RR, I noticed one of the leads to the fuel tap coils broke. The coils do not seem to be repairable. Does anyone know of replacement coils? There is no part number or any ID on them. The hole is 3/8 and the height 30mm. I do have the valves rebuilt and figure I could go with pretty much any 12v coil which fits dimensionally? Thanks a bunch for any help!

Did you have a look at lpg (liquified petrol gas) valves? The older valves could have the same coils as you are looking for. Maybe you can find some newer coil versions that fit onto the valves you have!? |

I was able to open the housing and resoldered the wire. The coil inside is pretty small and should be easily replaceable with any coil which has the right ID. There are plenty of 1/2in and 5/8in IDs out there but I was unable to find a 3/8in or 10mm in 12V. The actual coil inside is only about 20mm high... |
