They WANT someone to tell them what to do, where to go, how to eat, where to work, and where to live. Personal Responsibility is being bred out by our "educational system". Should work fine. The science is correct. Frankly, if the gun is better than I can hold, it wouldn't make a difference. I'm the weak link. But if you have issues with accuracy changes with ammo changes it might help. The idea is simple enough. The barrel rings like a bell when the charge goes bang. The barrel vibrates like a tuning fork. You want the bullet to leave the barrel at the same point in it's movement. | ||

It's not that they don't want to see it. They DO see it. And "people defending themselves" goes against Alinsky's plan...so it TERRIFIES them. I speak of the "ruling" class above. As for the sheep, well...they're sheep, and they parrot what their rulers preach because they're told to. Repeat a lie often enough, and people start to believe it. | ||

The pistol price is low enough at about $710. Ammo prices are way dow for range ammo. 22plinkster on Youtube had nothing but praise for it. Should be some ammo with a 40 grain Gold Dot HP coming in the spring. | ||

I'd never buy anything from Ruger in the first year of production. It will almost always have some kind of production issue. They'll always make it right, and usually give a free mag for the trouble...but H&K is the only company I've been a successful early adopter for. Did some shooting on the home range with the 10.5" 5.56mm after putting a strap on cheek rest on the brace. It helps keep the tip of my nose from crashing into the charging handle on recoil. My tiny "PDW" flash hider doesn't work so well in low light/indoors...with the occasional blinding flash. That's less than ideal...though it does fit in my PDW gun case and small backpacks that way. The chain suspending my rifle plate broke as I hit it while the target swung about wildly. I guess I'll have to let the plate settle a bit going forward. At the indoor range my fancy Leupold prismatic fell off the gun in a firing string. A coworker kindly kicked it back to me. It is scuffed up, but works fine. It was good practice for transitioning to irons. It was hand tightened twice before shooting. I guess I'll have to use a tool for now on. It's so much rowdier with this little flash hider on it...though it is a lot handier. What to do? I found the velocity of 55 grain 5.56 punishes the plate just as badly as 62 grain green tip stuff out of that short barrel. Ya just can't win, sometimes. | ||
