https://amgreatness.com/2020/01/05/what-is-the-mid dle-east-in-the-middle-of-anymore/ We don't need their oil. It would be nice not to have international prices spike if Iran disrupts tanker movement, but Russia would love that & China would suffer more than we would. Europe won't honor the treaties to pay for their own defence. Except Britain, which is leaving. And they insist on demographic suicide, importing thousands of outsiders who won't assimilate, contribute, or obey their laws. And there's nothing we can do to stop that, short of regime change acts of war against Germany and France. ( Sweden and Denmark can fight it out between themselves ) There's also the current failing German government policy to cooperate with Putin in blackmailing Europe with threats to withhold natural gas. ( desperately needed to generate power and heat homes & offices & schools ) We can't help that without cooperation we won't get. Britain, we can save. So other than Iranian Mullahs, Iranian puppets, Iranian puppet drug gangs, and other Obama allies like the Muslim Brotherhood/ISIS/AQ that need to be destroyed or thwarted, we only need a Naval presence and limited troops in the disputed territory and might as well cut way back on forces there, especially in Afghanistan. Exactly what Congress wants, but not if Trump is in charge. Insert joke here about drone strikes. |

I haven't been a fan of Ricky. But his defense of J.K. Rowling against the transwarp SJW assault ( J.K. defended a lady fired for not grasping there are 5643 sexes ) and this lovely monologue... He's still a tasteless shock jock ( or whatever the non radio term is ) but I'm enjoying his target's reactions. |

Just like they sell your buying, browsing, and personal information. With Big Tech, you aren't the customer. You're the product. There's an important mind set difference in perceived responsibility. |

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive Treason from Within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitors move amongst those within the gates freely, their sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the nation, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” Marcus T. Cicero, speech in Roman Senate, 58 BC This is why the socialists/communists want to remove all vestiges of history. History never lies, but those that lie are remembered forever! |

http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0120/hanson010920 .php3 Iran's options to continue the regime. It looks like the 737 that crashed soon after takeoff from Tehran was shot down. Satellite signals analysis, apparently "watched" the radar controlled SA-15 ( ( Russian made ) missile. This is NOT confirmed, and partly speculative. However, a 737-800 can fly just fine on one engine. Also a guess is another case of Iranian sabotage on an airliner, which to date has only grounded a sabotaged plane. WAG #3 ( my own thought ) is bad fuel but I won't post or speculate what kind might damage engines instead of just flaming out. It's a Ukrainian airline. Presumably good pilots who can do a proper preflight. Ukraine makes really good aircraft, they aren't illiterate idiots, even though they inherited a serious corruption problem from Soviet conquest & rule. Really good aircraft. I may yet get one, if production isn't wrecked by the ongoing war with Russia. Yes, that's still happening. U.S. MSM is too busy blaming Trump for Australian fires and the next volcano to report on it, but them pretending something isn't happening doesn't make it not so. |

I'm surprised Trump hasn't used this to highlight how incompetent Iran is. "Iran is bad, really bad. They say they're going to kill Americans, so they fire off a dozen missiles, pointed at American troops, and they can't hit a single American. They wasted millions of dollars building those missiles, and some of them didn't even explode. They're so bad, they killed a hundred of their own people instead of the Americans they're aiming at." With enemies like that, who needs allies? |

Don't mistake cheap missiles built by people who don't care all that much how many fail as harmless. Cheap means lots. And I wouldn't count on those "misses" as being misses. The Bad Orange Man made it clear, kill Americans, even Muslim immigrants, ( the dead American that prompted the bombing of Iranian missile piles was such. ) and we'll hurt your terrorist groups. The best guess is they made a face saving gesture to show defiance of the Great Satan, then promptly, publicly, announced they were done. You'll note we are hitting Iranian "troops" in Iraq and Syria, not Iran. Sure in any kind of stand up fight, I know American or British or Canadian troops can take on several times their numbers in Ayatollah thugs. But that's not their way. Kill women and children and terrorize. Shoot random death at towns. Supply thousands of missiles and bombs to Hamas, Hezbollah, and their proxies in Yemen. Don't forget their Glorious Leaders are old bitter, foul men who care nothing for the lives of anyone else, including the people of their own country. They talk holy and quite the holy books, but they are desperate, ambitious, monsters. Now I freely admit I'm biased. They want me dead. They never met me or know who I am, but simply because I would resist submission to their rule, I am under sentence of death. As are you. After all, they say so every day. They'd be happy to murder the world to win. |

Sorry, autocorrect... quote. not quite. Won't argue your point. The Ayatollahs are at that scary level where they should be cynical enough, running a country into the ground, to just be reading a script they don't believe in anymore. But you can't really tell if they are religious and following the book, or monsters exploiting the faith. The "good" news is it makes zero difference. They will burn the world for their faith or to keep their power, either way. So the only way to deal with them is the sword. Or a GBU-57A/B, I'm not that big a purist. |

They failed to kill anyone because we knew about the attack and evacuated a bunch of people. The military doesn’t think it was face saving, that’s just a press theory. |

I read one article with an apparently misleading headline, something like, "The US knew in advance of the attack". But then in the content of the article, the only evidence that the writer offered was that alarms sounded before impact. I have yet to read anything suggesting that the US was notified prior to the attack. I think it was expected, and they probably had rehearsal drills, and then when the early detection system sounded off, folks got in the bunkers. The US may have known in advance, but I have yet to read any evidence of it. |

I did. You can find news personalities making bold, vague declarations, "they knew in advance". one anonymous "administration" official said that they knew a few hours in advance. Another anonymous "official" said they learned through intelligence immediately before, but certainly not hours before. (maybe through visual monitoring of launch sites?) There's no clear, solid statements, like a US General, saying, "Iran notified us in advance". It probably did not happen. I think the media wants to make it sound like Iran said, "hey 'Merica, we're gonna shoot missiles at these coordinates, so go ahead and have your boys get down" as a way to paint Iran in a better light, and to make the US military look less capable, because Orange Man is the commander in chief. The lefties want it to look like Iran is legitimate and powerful, was doing us a solid, and Orange Man is powerless. |
