Jewish is a Religion not Race Correct. It's also a group of tribes of families. More than one ethnicity, Originally 13 tribes on the Arab peninsula. 12 counted as being from Israel proper. The 13th, "the lost tribe" has been claimed by various people, notably the Irish. ( we can assume hype, not real ) The original Tribes disappeared in the Diaspora. But European Jews are from Central Europe, the Ashkenazim, "German" & Iberian peninsula, Sephardim "Hispanic" groups. The Ashkenazi Jews are the most genetically distinct, in large part because of the genocides in Russia and especially the Nazi Germany ethnic cleansing programs. But Patches is absolutely correct. No. There are different races. Do Africans, Chinese, Korean, Peruvians all have genetic differences that distinguish them from eachother? The definition of "race" is pretty broad. Occasionally, I see someone and think, "he looks Jewish", and sometimes I'm right. I'm making that assessment based on their facial structure and usually skin tone. They're genetically, physically, recognizably, different from other races. I think you'd have to have a political agenda not to see that. | ||

In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units, and are rarely helpful to human beings. Seems to be only one explanation. It wasn't for at least a few hundred years (in Leviticus i believe) before we got any type of laws regarding who you shouldn't breed with. As to birth defects, I think entropy is the guiding factor here. Adam and Eve's genetics would have been perfect. The first several hundred years (generations even?), there probably wouldn't have been birth defects because the gene pool would have all stayed clean. There weren't bad sections of code to compound with other bad sections of code. | ||

Gregtonn, Adam was created in the Image of God. Moses lived about 2600 years after Adam was created. It was then Moses was given the law. They would have too many birth defects to survive another 3600 years if their practice was incest to keep the blood line pure.
