Ferris, I am off the 23rd, working the night of the 24th. I can possibly make it. Let me check the mileage and ride time and I'll get back with you. I'd love to down a few cold ones with you and meet Alex as he embarks on his trip. Thanks for the invite, keep me posted.

I'll have to mail out a case or two of Yuengling, PA's finest brew... Meeting up with Bart, FMJ and Ferris for the beginning of the trip definitely goes on the 'too cool' list. Thanks guys.

I'll meet you up here or in Wickenberg Bill. We could do Wickenberg to 17 on 89 and 89A... I haven't been on 89A on my bike yet and it was a few years ago in a car. I hear the road is good though. The other option I hear is good is to go wickenberg to Prescott then out to Skull valley and kirkland jct. then up to Bahgdad. In any case, I'm up for it and could probably get a Bandit 400 and maybe an M2 Cyclone to tag along. I gotta tell you though I'm not generally a "very spirited" rider but I like the corners . |

what's Sunday looking like? That doesn't sound too bad, maybe even Bart will chime in since he is here in Phoenix. |

I am thinking a 9:00 meeting time in Wickenberg would be good... I just left a message on the M2 riders answering machine. I'll call him back tomorrow. |

Wickenburg @ 9:00 sounds good. We've got to start riding north to get out of this heat, so lets get started. Either road sounds good. We'll get the other route next time. Pick a spot in wickenburg to meet. I'll leave from Arrowhead harley @ 7:30, no latter than 7:45. See Ya |

Kick ... I'll be in Wickenberg at 9:00. I'm thinking the last gas station on the right just as you leave town headed to Prescott. I don't recall what type of station it is but it's right at the northern edge of town. |

I'll be bringing the M2 cyclone (Jason) with me for sure. I just called him to confirm. I told him about the badweb but he doesn't have internet access. I'm still trying to get a hold of my friend on the Bandit 400. |

V-twin convention 4 Buells, 3 Aprilias...yup tasty The battlefield...The roads to Bagdad Arizona... 2 XB's covering a wounded Ma Duece in the open plains of battle...Jason lost his primary chain tensioner... Watering hole on the way to Bagdad that served as the rescue point for the wounded Ma Duece... The other wounded, my windscreen took many straifing runs from airborn attackers. Many as you can see simply kamikazied...others...never seen again.... |

That was a blast... I'm surprised you didn't get pics of the back tire of that Aprilia. That was very well used tire. At least we know he'll make it home... Plenty of tread in the center. I'll give Jason a call tomorrow and see if he needs help taking the primary cover off. I've almost got the chicken strips off my FRONT tire now... Thanks for taking the pics Mikel. |

Looks just like my first tire at 3000 mi! Glad you guys had a good ride. Wish I could've made it... Wycked how's life? Wanted to ask you where you bought your Cortec (Is that right?) tank bag from. I want one! Let me know man. The bike still isn't ready, if you can believe it. Memorial day rush at the service dept. had my bike back logged till next week. Ah well, I was working anyway... Take care all, see you soon, I hope... Chuck |

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the highlight of my weekend. We went to this killer party last night put on by 24SEVEN. Jason Britton was there as a special guest as well as the LVX girls. CRAZY! They had a dunk tank in the back yard, a tug o war mud pit, and last but not least a pool full of 90 gallons of JELLO! The LVX girls uh, entertained? The ultimately topless jello wrestling turned into topless mud wresting in the tug o war pit. Yea, a good time was had by all. Sorry, no pics, no digi camera yet, but I'll work on a few from my friends. Am I allowed to post those here???? Anyway, Jason Britton is simply amazing on a motorcycle. They had his stunt video playing on the big screen and he put on a demo in the front yard. OK enough bragging, take care all. bye... |
