"You need 240 mm rear wheel minimum" Ugh. Might as well extend the swing arm too, and then avoid Erik Buell at all costs. To each their own, I remember the 90's but I don't want to live there. I am craving OCC re-runs now! LOL |

Hi guy's, last weekend i was worked at the front mask. After a long time was my choice to do the flyscreen in this shape. I have cuted the ends, filled all the hole's in bracket and fixed the new cockpit on the top. I have order by a company a new cover for the Ignition, Neutral, Turnsignal and the High Bean Lights incl. a flashlight. They became a new place on the left side.

That was my first choice, go with the straight lines in the middle and make a smooth curve. Late on Saturday came the postman an bring me same shiny parts
think that the carbon fiber parts with the Molton orange paint was very cool see you soon maybe next week Tutte |

"@ Tpehak I will build this bike streetlegal here for Germany. It was important for me because i will ride this bike on the Street. I mean there was better for me because our Police are not so funny in this case Grüße Tutte" I'm surprised wide wheels are not legal in Germany. Especially after browsing through all that German style custom motorcycles with crazy wide rear and front wheels. I always was thinking wide wheels is German thing. And I'm more surprised it is illegal in your country knowing wide wheels are actually safer than narrow wheels because of wide tires have better grip, better cornering ability, and most impotently better leaning angle. Basically your wheel sliders on wider wheel at the same angle will not touch ground when narrow wheel sliders will start touching ground leading to dangerous situation when you just rock your motorcycle over your wheel slider loosing wheel contact with ground. Which means again wider wheels are safer and allow you lean extremely low allowing you go thru the corner significantly faster and safer with more aggressive angle. They've got a bigger contact patch, but if it can't handle well, I'd be hesitant to call it safer. If that was the case we could all just put car tires on our bikes. No point in having great traction on a bike you can't lean over when you come to a turn in the road. |

@Tpehak, i mean with this "Streetlegal" i must go to the TÜV here in Germany and they give you the sign that the things what you have chance on the bike was legal. For all things we need paperwork. Handlebar, Levers, Speedometer and more. Yes you can drive in your bike bigger wheels when they was Tüv Approved and legalised at the TÜv.( Rick's Motorcycle usw.) Here in Hessen we has one more step to became the paperwork. It's a 10 year model. After the Tüv you must go to the Department of Transportion, they send to the next level to clear is that right and in the frame of the German Law. After a week they came back and you a claer title to right the bike. The price was 58€uro for the Tüv, than 29€uro for the DOT and last 35€ for the finial paperwork. USD-€uro nearly the same. |

I was finished this part this weekend. It was the adapter for the 1125er damper. You can twist the position for more lowering. Normally you can weld a new bracket on the frame for the damper , but the TÜV doesn't want to see that. Welding at the main frame brings only trouble, welding at the sub frame was o.kay. |

Is it me or have things changed that when you build a drag style bike ,you don't add big clunky blocks of metal, huge dashes and a bat wing fairing?.I get, to each his own of course, but turing a pretty nimble very powerful factory street bike into a tank is blasphemy, crossing the line or whatever moniker fits. I build old school choppers and am a long time machinist and fabricator and get whats happenin with this bike. This is not a negative comment, but i would expect to see some.I know overseas is limited as to what platforms they can start with, but theres has to be a better choice for the mods and additions that are appearing.??? |

Hi Hawgford this not a negativ comment. In the first row stand for me to build the bike with Buell parts. It was not for any racetrack only to ride here a littlebit around my hometown. Sure it was easy to weld a bracket on the frame for the damper but i have here the TÜV I must made this alublock Greetings Tutte |

are the pictures tiny to everyone, or just me? looks great from what I can see! That's gonna be quite an aggressive footpeg position. I'm trying to picture riding my bike with my feet on the passenger pegs all the time. |

Shaping up nicely. At first I wasn't sure about the carbon cover on the subframe, but now that I see the bigger picture(s) I think I quite like it. |

This is the connecting block from the swingarm with the damper. I have 5 hole with M10 inside so you can fixed the block in 3 positions in front and 3 positions in the back version.

Brankin was a really good guy Why does it say "was"? I think I still am (is) a good guy! I know, language issue. Just trying to be funny... One thing is certain, he can sure pee alot... I kinda figured that was related to beer consumption. Maybe I'm wrong? I guess I'll just use the bushes during the HOMEcoming breakfast... |
