Hello all. I have been very surprised that I don't seem to be able to find anyone offering adaptors to fit a pair of Brembo four pot calipers to the front forks of 96-02 tube frame bikes. Neither can I find anyone making adaptors to fit rear Brembo two pot caliper. I have new front and rear calipers and discs (2x 320mm for the front) thinking it would be simple enough to find front and rear adaptors. I was wrong. Is anyone able to recommend adaptor suppliers? Or drawings? I can get them made myself if required. Thanks for the help. |

Someone was just asking something similar... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/858545.html?1570284249 In all my time around Buells, I don't think I've ever seen any brackets like what you're describing. I think having some made, or making some yourself depending on your resources, would have to be the way to go. The fronts would be simpler than the rear, since the rear is mounted on the axle. I've been currently piecing together the parts to put the newer rear caliper on my 97 S1, but beyond that you'll need something custom made. |

Thanks. There was at least one kit made commercially by Freespirits which was retailed widely by the usual suspects who have all now moved on to other/greater things. I can find no commercial supplier. I can design a set myself but presently, that's not an option for me. Cheers. |

You checked on the TWIN Motorcycles website? They used to have these, the front and the back. But I guess that was years ago, maybe no longer... |

Yeah thanks, no longer there. They resold the Freespirits kits. |

Harrison Billet engineering shows something sort of similar to them on their website still {http://www.billet.co.uk/index2.html?home.html~main Frame} And looks like Banke still offers these as a custom service, but not as a ready-made Buell part. |

Thank you Jayvee. Harrison (and Pretech) do bolt on calipers with no adaptors. They are cool. But I want to fit Brembo. Hence the question. Thanks so much about Banke. I thought they had stopped making Buell stuff entirely. So I'll look them up. Thanks again. |

Thanks. I could easily get them made locally too if I had a drawing. These guys have them (link below) but they only work with 340mm discs. I have 2x 320mm discs so I need adaptors a little different. At this point I am temped to buy a pair, copy them with a 10mm offset to the mount holes. https://buellservice.com/en/shop/s1-x1-m2/freni/ad attatori-per-doppio-disco/ |
