I also read that the new Kawi will do 100 in first gear. You have got to admit that would be a blast to do at LEAST once.

Several of us are going to the Gap this Saturday also (from Central Ohio). We plan to arrive there by mid-afternoon. Maybe we'll see each other? I'll be looking out for your black XB lightning.

If I leave here Friday after work I'll have most of Saturday to play in the streets.
But, I have to be realistic about the Friday afternoon Memorial Day weekend rush hour traffic hell
If I do leave Saturday morning it'll be very early so I have the mid/late afternoon to play.
When I do get out I will be looking for your white XB9R. |

Hey, Glitch what about my inv.bbbbe-ot!! I'll just go by myself. I'll hit 180 to 129 stright up. Hit the gap a couple of times then come back to N. GA . Come down Hyw 129 to Hyw17/129 then Hyw 180 to Hyw 60 to suches "T.W.O" then up Hyw 60 back down. Then to the house. Think it can be done???? Yah come on !!!!! |

It makes me smile more than a Happy Meal!
I'm definitely taking it easy. All that torque can break the back tire loose with a twist of the wrist and pop the front tire up before you can say "whoa", but my primary objective is to keep both tires grabbing as much asphalt as the laws of physics will allow. For now!
As soon as I get my hands on a camera I will post some pics.

I got smoked by an XZ9R on spring street. He had a little jump on me, but it still hurts. Nallin race kit, with a couple other things will take care of that squid eating, squared off tire, foot dragging, punk!!! But soon as we hit the first curve he hit the breaks.
