After 3 "last trips" today, I joked that I knew better than to tempt fate by declaring it the final time I'd see the old house, then launched into a humorous tirade doing just that, including every cliche perfect for invoking punishment for hubris by the Ancient Greek Gods, ending with the lightning craving "nothing could go wrong, now!" . A mile from home & shower, his wife calls me to return for a forgotten item.... I could almost hear the heavens roaring with laughter. ( But it may have been a F-16 ) I deserved it.  The Mann-Ball lawsuit made me laugh too. ( but it could have been tragic ) When a self righteous um, fellow, uses the legal system to persecute multiple others who point out his lies, ( no alleged needed now ) to shut them up, punish them, and intimidate all who would dare challenge the Green Religious Revelation his work is the foundation of, gets ordered to pay the legal fees of his intended victim, it was occasion for celebration. I look forward to other cases pending, most having gone on for years of ruinous expense, to see if there is a trend. I do hope so. Quite a lot depends on facts & actual science guiding public policy. It has been increasingly evident that this has not been the case as multiple people deeply involved in this multi trillion dollar scam openly admit science, facts, and the environment have nothing to do with the Global Warming hoax. When the author of the Green New Deal and the head of the U.N. Climate organization tell us exactly that, in plain english, yet politicians are still demanding those who question them on this subject be executed, we really have an existential crisis. | ||

Re: solar causing more pollution - Adding solar to the grid is like forcing a car to drive in town with the constant start and stop of traffic instead of allowing it to drive in cruise control on the highway. Perfectly logical. Hadn't occurred to me, but now that it's spelled out...how much more obvious could it be? | ||

Sheesh, Court, there’s pictures taken at the end of every summer that clearly demonstrates that some ice has melted. They publish those in the winter, for propaganda purposes, or compare them with pictures taken in 1970 (in February, but they fail to mention that) to provide the evidence you seek. | ||

So far .... both sides seem to hold tightly to extreme positions supported by no more than Twitter and these meme cartoon things. Facts are hard to come by in climate ‘science’. I would start with Tony Heller. He has a youtube channel. He brings facts. NASA graphs, newspaper articles. He cites papers. | ||

Many on the left are having mental breakdowns. Many had them Wednesday after the election. If they are having a breakdown, certainly Trump is too, right? Same as gun rights, and so many other issues. "I" feel that if "I" owned a gun, "I" would kill innocent people, so everyone must be wired that way too, right? So we have to take guns away. I can't manage finances, so neither can anyone else, so government has to manage it for us. Free education, health care, retirement plan, housing. The list goes on and on. | ||

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to engage in thoughtful, meaningful discussion or debate of certain topics. Part of the reason is that online resources seem so peppered with various advertisements, pop-ups and extraneous crap that makes the website appear to lack credibility. If I, as an example, want information on tariffs and try to print something out . . . the graphic of Trump dressed as Superman looks like a cartoon and supports the supposition that the information lies in a similar vein. I've reverted to source documents for several things. Two that currently hold my focus are the Electoral College and Impeachment. I've listened to so many who know nothing about the genesis, background, function or true nature that I decided to forget everything I thought I knew and start from scratch. Seems like all I have bought lately are law books and math books . . . hahahaha . . and Porsche and MG service manuals. No Buell owner, past or present, can ever be truly happy without a vehicle that fights back. Things could be worse . . . . | ||

Court, here's the basic truth of Climate Change. It's real. Just not like presented by the Cult/Con. The world warmed up, then CO2 rose. Warm water can't hold as much, just like soda water. Time's arrow. Cause- effect. Multiple times for a really, really long time. The primary cause of temperature change is the Sun. For 2 reasons. One is fracking obvious. The other is that lower solar activity reduces the charged particles in the Van Allen belts. Lower particle density allows more charged cosmic rays in. More cosmic rays give more nuclei for water vapor to form clouds. More high altitude clouds block solar heat. CO2 levels MAY be already at saturation for trapping reflected & radiated heat from the earth into space. Thus more or less CO2 MAY Have no further greenhouse effect than presently. ( there is documentation, but it's considered Heresy by the Cult ) blue Historically, when the Earth was warmer than today, and the best records are the most recent, around the heights of Rome, & roughly a thousand years ago during the Medieval Optimum & the Viking Exploration Age, storms were less. Weather was better in temperate regions. When the Earth was cooler, the Little Ice Age, the time of The American Revolution, & ( to a lesser degree ) 1960-80s, weather was bad. Big storms, blizzards, crop failures, famines, plagues. ( boosted by poor nutrition, also caused by large scale war, as armies stripped the countryside for supplies. See the conquest of the Western Roman Empire in decay by the Eastern Roman Empire during the time of Emperor Justinian, by General Belisarius, followed by plague across southern Europe ) ( History shows that warm = good weather. Cold = bad weather, the Opposite to Cult Claims ) Finally, the conceit that the temperature of the planet is SUPPOSED to be what it is today is ignorant hubris, or deliberate deception. ( depending on knowledge and motivation of folk who so say ) For much of distant pre-mammal/pre-history it was much warmer.
