I think Beaubier's odds of holding on to the title are getting slimmer and slimmer... |

Now THAT was a dramatic turnaround in fate! Looking forward to seeing you in Pittsburgh again, Dennis! This year I'll be back on two wheels and no crutches. |

Hoping Beaubier and Gerloff can keep the pressure on Tony. Herrin may not have a ride next year...implying nothing other than his tendency to crash his bike and run out of parts!!! Wheels are turning making final travel plans for PittRace. Hoping for a mellow, temperate, August weather weekend! |

It feels like MotoAmerica is dying a slow death...IMHO of course. I wouldn't be shocked at all if nobody had a ride next year due to the series shutting down. |

How's the "Chicken outlook?" There was a food truck there last year that had AWESOME Indian food, but it was only there one day. Hope it's back! |

Departing tomorrow for PittRace. Looks a little like we might be getting wet. But the rest of the weekend looks GREAT! See you there! |

We got caught in one short but INTENSE deluge on I-78, but were dry by the time we checked into the hotel. We couldn't get into the Microtel as we have in year's past. This year we're at the Super 8 just down the road from the track entrance. Giuseppe's across the street had a pretty decent Thursday night Prime Rib special. We'll look for you tomorrow! |

We're at the Ramada, just down the road from you. We rode thru threatening rain and expected to get wet, but had a completely dry ride!! See you tomorrow (today?). Looking forward to a terrific weekend!! |

We saw Tim today and he said you were hanging out at Wyman's tent. I should've known... we'll look for you tomorrow (Saturday). I was there when Kyle got to unbox his new helmet. Pretty cool! |

Hey Tim and Dennis: Great catching up with you guys. We should've taken a "BadWeb at the PittRace" photo! Oh well, next year. Tim, I'll probably see you in two weeks at NJMP. |

Just got back after riding 300 miles, last 100 wet!! No complaints about the weather at PittRace, though! Always good to catch up with you guys. Plus the weekend racing was pretty dang awesome!! Debating about the drive to Barber. Have fun at NJMP! |

Heading east I had much better weather. Some clouds and it was downright CHILLY in the mountains but dry all the way home, a little under 500 miles. In total I put a little over 1,000 miles on the scooter during this trip. |

It's only 300cc, but it has no problem at all droning along at 70+ mph on the highway and the amount of storage under the seat is AMAZING. Since it has a CVT it isn't a royal pain when I get stuck in the inevitable traffic jam returning home to Long Island, either. Bonus: I've never gotten worse than 70 mpg out of it so the three gallon tank is good for over 200 miles. |

Great seeing you this past weekend, Tim. Hope you get the truck straightened out before Barber and your off-season plans sound AWESOME (I'm jealous). Good luck in Alabama! |

Just noticed only ten points separates PJ Jacobsen from Bobby Fong in Supersport. Sounds like all out WAR in Alabama in two weeks. I'm rooting for my fellow Noo Yawkuh! |

WOAH! This is HUGE news! Despite Fresnobuell's nay-saying, MotoAmerica must be doing pretty well, because next year they will be returning to INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY!! And not as a support class, but as the main event! Indy can't be CHEAP, so this is GREAT news. I wonder if this means Pittsburgh will be getting the axe? When we spoke to Wayne Rainey last year, he said the manufacturers and sponsors didn't want more than ten rounds so if they're adding Indy, something else must be on the chopping block. The 2020 Calendar is shaping up to be really interesting! |

I would think more rounds would be better for the series, but it's understandable if the people footing the bills aren't as excited at the prospect of more race weekends. |

From what Greg White told us this past weekend, there won't be any two-day events like this year in 2020. They'll all be three days so the riders have adequate time for testing and set-up, as well as a proper superpole shoot-out. |

Moving from the 2-day events is a good step. Maybe I am crazy, but it also seems like allowing for more track time makes for a safer event too. Going balls out during a race with severely limited practice doesn't seem prudent. |

Glad to see them coming back to IMS. It'll be interesting to see if another venue gets cut, or if it is an additional event. I'd be surprised and disappointed if Pittsburgh gets the ax. That track is really working hard at improving things...kinda like I wish Mid-Ohio would start doing! Since MotoGP and MotoAmerica departed Indy, the city still maintains a big motorcycle weekend that formerly was race weekend (motorcycles on Meridian), so one COULD assume the city and IMS will petition to collaborate on the dates. I'm happy because IMS is ALMOST in my back yard! Edit: I guess if I actually read ALL of the press release, I would have seen that the race weekend IS the same as Motorcycles on Meridian! Great minds think alike!! (Message edited by steeleagle on September 12, 2019) |

Rumor has it NJMP may be on the chopping block after they added Ridge. If they're adding Indianapolis, then another venue has to go too. NJMP is actually the closest track to me (but Pittsburgh put on a better event IMHO). Guess it won't be long before the 2020 provisional calendar is released. |

That depends on how literal the 10 round limitation is...I would be curious to see the attendance figures from all rounds. |

Rumor has it NJMP and Miller are on the chopping block... I do like NJMP as it is the closest but the facilities pale compared to Pittsburgh. Especially the lunch choices. This past Sunday there was only their over-priced snack stands with limited selections. They should take a page from Pittsburgh and invite the local food trucks into the track. And for some place so close to Philadelphia, you'd think they'd have an idea of what a cheesesteak is supposed to be for God's sakes... |

Looks like I'll be at back-to-back races for Pittsburgh and Indy! Nice!! August might be a tad toasty, but it goes with the territory! |
