Btw... The article above says the Republicans are also using the same technique to avoid campaign finance laws. But the writer didn't know the secret url. You can assume all the DC political elite are criminals, ( true ) or that part of the story is unsupported by any facts. ( probably true ) Me? Both. But I wonder why the Dems even bother to look for loopholes to get illegal campaign money. During the Bush, Clinton, & Obama years, literally hundreds of millions$ of illegal foreign bribes, mostly from OPEC countries, went into Bill & Barry's hands, and no one at Justice seemed concerned at all. ( All well documented ) And while you might say, "but now that the Donald is President..." I still haven't seen any prosecutions. And I think most Americans want politicians thrown in prison. | ||

By choosing to ban content and users by it's own arbitrary and changing rules, because they are Jews, or Conservative, or tell the truth, they are publishers, responsible for the content carried by their service. Badweb does not ban people for being Leftist Puppets. The lack of postings by Leftist Puppets is entirely a matter of cowardice and inability to defend a position. Having an unashamed counter-revolutionary hijack a thread ( guilty ) asking about patriotism, by the simple tactic of taking the question at face value ( instead of the rhetorical device for insulting dishonesty intended ) shows that this is indeed a platform. The OP is more than welcome to contribute to their own thread. Their reasons not to can only be speculated about, and my opinion is they simply can't defend their thesis with facts, logic, or any descendants of the Socratic Method. But I could be wrong. And Twitter IS under great pressure from governments around the world to stop carrying terrorist groups instructions to commit violent crimes. So in effect, they are being ordered to act as Publisher and not Platform. Much as I hate to defend Twitter, Truth is more important than any agenda I might have. And therein lies the difference. I understand, it is the same in Maryland. Most "stand your ground" states, you are allowed to protect valuables - repel a carjacker or a mugger, for example. States like Maryland (where I am), you are only allowed to use deadly force to protect life and limb...and cash, oddly enough. Their rule is "if it can be insured and replaced, you can't do it". Cash...can't really be "insured" or easily "replaced" (prove you had $9500 in your pocket, sir), so they let it into the category of OK to defend. Both of these, of course, are different than Castle Doctrine which is where you are allowed to use deadly force to repel home invaders, inside your own home/structure. There are loopholes/requirements like 'where was their weapon that you were afraid of' and 'why are all the holes in their backs'...but - at least for the moment - Maryland still allows us to protect our own homes from within, once the walls have been breached. | ||
