Jim....I am beginning to see your point. Maybe the SCTA will have the leather rule straightened out be 2005... Mark |

The AMA Bub rules are on-line. http://www.speedtrialsbybub.com/Bonneville-SRs-2004.pdf Basicically it says,.. "It's your ,... protect it" ... and the entry fee is only $200.00 lots of press coverage and it's motorcycle only? but in the back of my mind I keep thinking,... "just how is the AMA going to screw this up?" |

The scta has decided suits must be complete leather, no area patches of other material. This makes virtually every off the rack suit illegal. Suits good enough for AMA pro, FIM Moto GP aren't good enough for the SCTA.... huh ??? |

Hey, George! Most of the parts are on the shelf awaiting a trip to Bonneville. Here is a pic of my street Sportster with Dale Amsden's 1000cc Headquarters top end and your old tanks. She ran a best speed of 139.4 at Maxton last weekend. That was with the "small" cams and a 2-1 pipe. We will better that next month. Mark |
